We did it. We made it.
NINETEEN
Hunter
She’s ours.Valerie is finally ours. People cheer, but I don’t care. I pull her from Chase and Lief to kiss her, gripping the back of her neck as I suck and lick her tongue. She draws back and touches my face.
“Your vows were beautiful, Hunt,” she whispers before kissing me again. “I love you.”
“Last night was impossible,” Chase groans as he kisses her. “Never again.”
Lief nods and strokes her cheek. “We have photos to take and a reception to get started. Let’s walk down the aisle.”
“And you and I have a paper to sign, Lief,” Valerie reminds him.
She holds my hand and Chase’s hand while Lief keeps a hand on her back as we walk down the aisle to cheering and clapping. We take pictures together: serious ones, romantic ones, and silly ones.
Then she gets pictures with us individually. I pull her close, my arm around her waist as I stare into her gorgeous eyes. From my peripheral, I notice someone adjusting her skirt, but I keep stroking her cheek until our foreheads touch.
“I love you,” she whispers, her nose rubbing against mine. “So much, Hunt. You have no idea how much.”
A few pictures are taken, but I love the fact her dress is sleeveless. I bend down and kiss across her shoulder, her neck, then her mouth. She slides her hand into my hair and kisses me back with so much passion I almost pass out. I love it. I love how desperate she is for me.
Valerie pulls away and giggles as I grin. I twirl her under my arms and cross her arms across her abdomen. She looks up at me, eyes all big and eager as she pants.
“Hold it!” the photographer orders.
Her gaze sizzles through me, and it takes everything in me to keep from kissing her. Valerie’s lips part as she stares at me. “Krolik.”
Just that word breaks me. I kiss her again, devouring her mouth and pressing her against the wall. She already took photos with the other guys and now she’s mine. The photographer tries to get Valerie and me in order as I move her toward the stairs. But Valerie isn’t listening anymore than I am. She giggles as she bundles her dress up in one hand and takes my hand, following where I lead.
I hear more cameras flicker, then I growl out. “Photos are done. Start the reception.”
Valerie laughs as I pick her up. She kisses across my neck, teasing me with light flicks of her tongue until I find a room. I shut the door and see Valerie backing away from me.
“How sweet of you, Hunter. This is where my reception dress is,” Valerie purrs.
I arch an eyebrow. “Lucky me. You’ll have something to wear when I tear that dress off you.”
She puts her palm against my chest. “I didn’t say you get to have me or tear my very expensive dress. I like it. I want to keep it.”
“I’ll replace it,” I say, pulling her closer to me.
She smirks. “Hunter Volkov, when was the last time I made you work for me?”
“Not today,” I growl. “After the small amount of time we got yesterday, not having you in bed with me last night, do you think I’ll let you get away?”
She smiles and reaches behind her, undoing something. Her dress loosens on her and she takes another step back and another until she stops at the window. “What was it you said I had to do to get a kiss or your touch at that gala so long ago? Or after?”
“Oh, you’re going to beg for it. That’s for sure,” I promise.
She lets her gown fall to the floor, pooling around her feet. It reveals lingerie that makes me want to take back my comment. I’m ready to beg my wife. The white lace corset, the silk white panties. I lean in closer and notice something on the top of her panties.
She snaps them against her hip.
Hunter. Chase. Lief.I groan and close the space between us, pressing my hand on the walls so I don’t touch her. “Dorogaya, you tease me too much.”
“Do I?”
