She lifts my chin and kisses me. “You know Sophia won’t say anything. Holden won’t let her and she wouldn’t hurt me ... or us.”
I nod. “I know.”
“Valerie? Hunter?” Chase calls from downstairs.
I grin at her and kiss her again. “I hope you’re ready for the rest of the makeup sex you’re about to get.”
“I should get out of this costume,” she murmurs, despite not making a move to get up.
I grab her wrists and hold her down. “I don’t remember saying I was done with you.”
She moans and kisses me. A few minutes later, Lief and Chase join in. Chase doesn’t ask a single question. He just gets on his knees as I flip Valerie onto all fours. She takes him in her mouth as I fuck her again. Lief strokes himself as he watches. Who needs therapy or communication when we can just take care of every fight or frustration like this?
By the time all of us finish, Valerie lies between Lief and Chase, only half awake. Chase cups her chin. “I’m sorry for my reaction.”
“I’m sorry for outing you,” she answers against his lips.
Just like that, all is right in the world.
EIGHT
Valerie
I kisseach of my fiancés as I get on the plane. Lief holds me in place for an extra moment. “I don’t like you flying alone.”
“Is a ghost going to get me in the sky, Lief?” I tease. “The pilot will take good care of me.”
“If he doesn’t, let us know,” Chase says just loud enough for the flight staff to hear. I know no one will cross him.
“And let us know when you arrive,” Hunter insists.
“Guys, I’m going to be gone for a day and a half,” I say, kissing each of them again. “I’m more worried about you three getting into trouble and me not being around to save your very nice asses.”
“We’ll keep our asses safe,” Chase promises.
“Yeah, you better,” I poke his chest. “Boss or not, you know I’ll be angry.”
Hunter puts Chase in a headlock. “I have a lifetime of practice keeping him in line.”
Lief rolls his eyes. “I promise, everything will be fine. No threats have come in.”
“We could always come with you,” Chase says after shoving Hunter to the side.
Instead, a car pulls up. Vanya and Josefine get out with Elaine, all giggling. I motion to them. “The plane is full.”
The guys pout, but we have an amazing plane ride. We drink champagne, I flip through bridal magazines and point out dresses I like. I show Elaine some bridesmaid gowns and we’re all a little tipsy when we land. Rather than burdening Sophie with housing so many people, we get a hotel and continue the fun, ordering room service and talking about nothing.
When Vanya and Josefine decide to go out to enjoy New York, I sigh as I lie out on the bed next to Elaine.
“I can’t believe you’re getting married to three guys. Like I knew because of the Halloween party you were seeing all three of them, but I just assumed it was a fling, you know?” she asks. “Then we graduate and bam, you’re engaged.”
I laugh. “I know. It all happened kind of fast, but I love them. I’d do ...” I think about the things I have done for my fiancés. “I do anything for them. I don’t want to wait to be their wife.”
“So ...” she rolls onto her belly and draws circles on the comforter. “Who are you marrying? I know you want all three, but legally speaking.”
“I’m thinking about marrying Lief. I’m worried if I marry Chase or Hunter, they’ll be jealous. Not the best way to start a marriage,” I mumble.
“Agreed.”
