I help her into the dress, kissing up her back just before I zip it. She looks at herself in the mirror. It still looks bridal. There’s one strap that crosses her shoulder and the bodice has the same cut out style along the side, just like her wedding dress did. This one shows off her legs in the front, not even touching her knees as the fabric waves further and further down on the sides until the back. It reaches the ground with the same lace as her wedding dress, but doesn’t touch the floor.

I kiss Valerie’s neck. “It’s beautiful, but everyone can see your garter and your knife.”

She gasps and adjusts the knife, then the dress. It hangs perfectly, barely covering the garter, but doing its job all the same.

She turns and pushes against my chest. “Come on, we’re already late.”

“I had to have you before Lief or Chase. Chase gets to parade you around as his mafia goddess, Lief gets you on paper...” I trail off, not wanting to sound ungrateful.

“And you get me dressing up in all those costumes to make studying history more fun. You get me to read to. You get me to train in the gym, you get me as your wife,” she says.

I kiss her again. How can Valerie make me feel so complete, even though I’m sharing her?

I don’t bother overthinking it as she leads us to the closed doors of the reception area outside. Lief and Chase are waiting. Lief looks at his nails before peeking up at Valerie. Chase huffs. “About time. You’re losing your touch, Hunter. You used to be faster than that.”

“Trust me, you both are going to struggle to keep your sanity when you see what else our wife has for us,” I say, loving that I can call her my wife — our wife. I kiss the top of her head and fix her hair. Chase adjusts her makeup, putting her back together. Lief shakes his head. “Couldn’t even fuck her without ruining her hair and makeup.”

“Hey, I did plenty of the fucking ... and seducing,” Valerie says. “And I believe I was told that we weren’t leaving until each of you had fucked me. One down.”

“We didn’t say just once,” I whisper in her ear.

She giggles and shakes her head. “All three of you–from so romantic I’m crying, to horndogs in less than an hour.”

“You better get used to it, baby doll. This is your forever,” Chase says. “Now, Hunter got to have you and Lief and you are about to sign a paper, so I get to walk in with you.”

I roll my eyes. We may marry her together, but I have a feeling we’re always going to be fighting over her.

Valerie

Chase and I walk in.Then it’s a whirlwind of action. Everyone wants to say hello, food is served and we almost miss it, but Kon refuses to let anyone take our plates away. He nods when we sit down. I take his hand. “Kon, go be with your girlfriend. I’m sure she’s eager for your attention.”

“I.. I was given a job, Valerie,” he says. “I need to check with security and-”

“Eat, Kon. Tell security to do their job and sit with Julianna for a bit,” I insist. I arch an eyebrow when he refuses, letting my features harden. “Are you going to tell a bride no on her wedding day?”

“N-no, of course not. Never, Mrs ...”

“Prins,” Lief takes my hand. “Valerie Prins.”

“Right, right,” he hurries away.

Lief touches his ear and I lean back. “That better not be a com in your ear. In fact, Iknowit’s not, because if it was, I’d have to tug that braid out of your hair. It’s our wedding day!”

He hands me the com so I can hear the security guys. “Lief’s a softy now. Married and smiling for everyone. Can you believe we used to be afraid of him?”

Another guy speaks up. “Say what you want about him. Valerie is terrifying, married or not. I bet she has multiple weapons on her right now.”

“I could take her, or convince her she doesn’t want to fight,” another says.

I arch an eyebrow at Lief. He nods once. “I’m making a list of who I’m going to fire. Dmitri just made number one.”

“Oh please, Valerie has the Volkov brothers and Lief. You wouldn’t know what to do with her, not the other way around,” another guy says.

“She’d castrate all of you for talking about her or her men just like that,” a cool, calm voice says. “In fact, I’d be careful if I were you. Plenty of loyal and smart people are on this frequency. I’d be surprised if Kon or Lief himself aren’t listening.”

All chatter ceases, and Lief smiles before pulling it out and setting it on the table. “Lev will keep them in line.”
