Valerie groans and kisses me again. “I love you.”
TWELVE
Valerie
When Liefand I get home from the venue, I wrap myself around him. He chuckles and picks me up, carrying me to the couch where he tumbles down on top of me. I kiss him hungrily. I love how blasé he is about everything, especially someone flirting with him. He doesn’t care, doesn’t engage, and doesn’t think twice about it. It’s sexy as hell.
I groan against him and suck his tongue as he grinds against me. I tug at his shirt. “Off.”
“I suggested a date,” he reminds me.
“Are you telling me you don’t want me right now, Lief?” I ask before kissing a tattoo on his neck.
“No,” he groans, gripping my hips. “I can never tell you no.”
I giggle and roll him off the couch, landing on top of him. Lief rubs the back of his head, but his hand is under my knee, proof he can’t help but protect me. I kiss him, taking my time so hefeelshow much I love him.
“I can’t wait to marry you,” I say against his mouth.
He groans and pulls me tighter against his muscular body. “Valerie Prins.”
Our kissing gets a lot more intense as we tug at each other’s clothing. I keep calling him ‘husband’ until he’s buried inside me. Every time he calls me Mrs. Prins, I lose my mind. Neither of us last long.
I slump on his chest when we finish. I shudder as my pussy keeps spasming around him and he groans. “You’re going to make me hard again.”
“Oh no, how terrible,” I say sarcastically.
Lief lets me wash him in the shower, including his hair. I dry him off, then ruffle his hair with a towel. He watches me with a passive face, but there’s a softness to his eyes as I keep fluffing his hair.
I sit on his lap and kiss him again. “I love you, Lief. So much.”
He strokes my back and kisses the inside of my shoulder. “I love you, Valerie. It doesn’t matter to me if someone flirts. It does nothing. Especially compared to whenyouflirt with me.”
How am I not supposed to love him when he says things like that?
We have a good night together. When Hunter and Chase get home, they join us in the movie marathon. The guys take turns feeding me popcorn and snacks as we laugh and joke around. It feels good. It feelsnormal.
The next morning, I wake up curled around Chase with Hunter hugging my back. Lief is asleep on his own, at peace. I get up, trying to sneak out, but Hunter jerks me back down. “Where do you think you’re going?”
“I was going to make breakfast,” I murmur.
“I’m not ready for you to leave,” Hunter says, wrapping himself around me again. “I like cuddling you, so stay here. Just a little longer.”
I roll over and hug him, kissing across his chest. “Is something wrong, Hunt?”
“Chase is all worried about you. You spent all yesterday with Lief. Am I slipping through the cracks?”
“No,” I answer, sucking his neck. “I love you, Hunt. Do you want to go on another date? We could do plenty of things, wedding related and non-wedding related.”
“We should pick out some clothes for the honeymoon. Things I’m allowed to tear off you,” he murmurs in my ear.
I roll my eyes. I know he’s hard. He’s hard every morning. I take his hand and drag him into the bathroom with me. We brush our teeth. When I see him pick up speed, I try to finish first. I win and turn around to face him, sticking out my tongue just for him to lick it.
Hunter jerks me against him and kisses me. The mint adds an extra layer to our kiss that I didn’t expect. He presses his forehead to mine. “I love you so much, Dorogaya.”
“We could run away together today. Forget all about any work you have to do and make the most of our Sunday,” I offer.
“Chase would lose his mind,” Hunter sighs.
