Water rains down on me as my back hits the cold tile just as he plunges deep inside of me. I cry out from the pleasure as he bites my bottom lip before his tongue finds mine. Hands grasp my behind as he takes himself even deeper over and over again. My back slides against the wet tile as the water hits my breast. I feel pressure start to build in my core as my fingers dive into his hair, giving it a pull. His hands dig into my bottom as he squeezes and pushes me harder into him. “Cum with me,” he pants. My body instantly obeys as I cry out and pulse around him. I hear him shout as he buries himself deep, emptying inside me. I cling to him as the last of my tremors leave my body, both of his panting. Lowering me to the floor, he kisses me softly. “Best damn dessert I’ve ever had.”

“Agreed,” I grin as he starts to soap me up.

The rain finally stopped while we were in the shower. I blow dry my hair as Noah checks in with his family. Last we heard, their house is good except for the usual yard cleanup from the wind. Now that the rain has stopped, we’re going into town to check on a few businesses. Noah wants to check on his mom’s studio for her, and I want to swing by the library to make sure Miss Sylvia doesn’t need any help.

Coming back into the bathroom, I see Noah end the call. “What did your mom say?” I ask while applying a touch of mascara and lip gloss.

“I let her know we’re headed into town and can check on the studio for her so she doesn’t have to get out. She said Bella and Sophia were going to their apartment now to check on things. Mav is doing the same as us, checking on his mom’s smoothie place and the surf shop.

“I want to check the library, too, and make sure Miss Sylvia doesn’t need any help." My eyes grow wide, “I just realized something. You’re the one donating to the library and funding my children’s programs, or rather Beck Hunter is. If it weren’t for you donating, I probably wouldn’t have a job. It’s so weird how it comes full circle.”

“Hmmm. I never thought about my donations being able to give you a job.”

Reaching up, I kiss him deeply on the lips.

“What was that for?” He asks, grinning.

“I just think it’s really sweet that you donate to help the kids at the library.”

“Well, it was you who inspired me with the great children's stories you tell. I want other kids to be able to experience the gift of stories as well.”

Feeling my eyes tear up, I hug him tightly. “Thank you for believing in me,” I whisper against his chest as his arms wrap around me.

“I’ve always believed in you. I can’t wait to see you have your own display table in the children’s section. We’ll rule the library,” he says, teasing.

Laughing, I say, “Just to let you know, Miss Sylvia is on to you. She already ruled out my thoughts about you being a woman and said you likely live here. She knows practically everyone in town, so it’s just a matter of time before she puts the clues together.”

“Nah, it’s been six years. She’s not even close to figuring it out. Plus, it’s kind of hot to know that we have this little secret, and you get to sleep with the mysterious Beck Hunter.”

Looking up at him, I grin. “Oh, it’s incredibly hot, Mr. Hunter.” I bat my eyelashes at him.

“Now we’re talking. You can be the hot librarian, and I’m the sexy author. I need to get you some of those sexy glasses, and you could wear your hair in a bu..”

“You’re impossible,” I laugh. Smacking his butt as I walk out of the bathroom, I turn to him. “But I like the way you think." Giggling, he starts to chase me around the room and captures me in a kiss.

“We better get going, my sexy librarian. Mr. Hunter wants to get back so we can play.” He smacks my butt and leaves the room with a mischievous grin on his face.

Laughing, I follow him down the stairs so we can leave. I can’t help but smile as I think of all the things I would like Mr. Hunter to do later to his little librarian.

As we head into town, I notice a lot of debris on the roads and a few fallen trees, but nothing looks to be major. We park downtown and get out to walk around. A few business owners are bagging up the small limbs that have fallen on the sidewalks and into the streets. I see the lineman working on the poles, so hopefully, electricity will be restored soon in this part of town.

Grabbing my hand, Noah leads us in the direction of his mom’s studio. Besides the sidewalk needing cleaning, we can’t see any damage down to the structure of the place, which is a huge relief. We check the library next and see Miss Sylvia picking up around the front entrance. Her grandsons are with her, helping out.

“Hi, Miss Sylvia. We wanted to check on the library and see if you needed any help.” I walk over to her.

“Oh, hi, dear. You didn’t have to come all this way today.” She smiles up at me. Looking at Noah beside me, holding my hand, she grins wider. “Why, hi Noah. I guess the rumors about the hardware incident are true about you two. It sure didn’t take you long to snatch her up,” she laughs.

“We met the weekend she got here, but it seems like lifetimes ago,” he winks at me.

“Hearts will be breaking all over town. I always wondered who would be lucky enough to snag you up, and I couldn’t be happier that our Emma was the one.” She beams at us both.

“I couldn’t be happier either.” Noah grins at me. “Do you need any help? Emma and I could stay.”

“Oh, no. We’re fine. I’ve got my grandsons here, and nothing seems to be damaged other than debris out here. We’ll be done in no time. You guys go have fun,” she says, winking at us both.

We say our goodbyes as we continue down the street. “I give it two days before the whole town knows about us.” Noah chuckles. “Miss Sylvia loves to talk.”

“Yeah, I’m starting to realize how fast things spread around here.” I feel someone’s arms come around me as they spin me around. I shriek as I get twirled.
