“You little bastard.You’ve always been a thorn in my side.Mark my words,son, I’ll come after both of you to get what’s owed.Now, what will it be?”

I hang up the phone, tired of his empty threats.I learned long ago his bark is bigger than his bite, and I made sure my bite became venomous.

He doesn’t realize that by threatening me, he’s started a family war, and I’m prepared to eliminate the rodent if he comes near me or my empire.

With that in mind, I decide it’s time to take a little trip to see just how strong my guest has become.

Waiting for the elevator door to open, I take out my phone and type a message to Tony, stating he’s needed at the house as soon as possible.The next message is to Knox, who’s on door duty, telling him I’m on my way up.

As the small elevator takes me up two levels, I revise my plan, just to be sure William doesn’t take what’s mine.

“Boss.”I’m greeted by the man I entrust my life to.

“Knox, how has she been?”We both know I already have the answer to that question, but his loyalty to me has him answering right away.

“Quiet for the time being.Do you need me to wait out here?”

I nod that will be fine as I turn the lock ever so slowly, building anticipation on the other side of the door.

I half expect something or someone to come flying toward me, but the silence continues.

I open the door with authority and see she’s still in the same place as when I checked the monitor.Her face is void of any emotion as she stares directly at me with a calculating expression.

I walk over to her, knowing I left the door unlocked, testing her, but her eyes stay focused on mine.There’s no telling that she’s going to get up and run and it makes me wonder if this young woman fears me at all.

Standing directly in front of her, I wait for the abuse she spat toward me from earlier, but still not a whisper.

I move my arm, directing my hand so it’s positioned under her chin but don’t yet touch her.I see the subtle hitch in her chest as I move closer to her, which tells me I’m affecting her more than she’ll allow me to believe.Her breaths are now shorter as I finally touch her soft skin and her lips part as I force her to look up into my eyes.

“The best treasure is the hardest to find.I’ve been searching for you a long time, Savannah Carlisle.”

“My name is Ava Pierce, but you already know my name.It seems you know more about me than I’d like you to.Who are you?The Mafia?You’re too tailored to be a standard businessman, and there’s no way you lift a finger to earn your wealth.”

My dick stirs to life because of her smart mouth.“You’ll get that smart mouth of yours in trouble if you keep disrespecting me, little girl.”I’ve never been challenged like this by a woman before.I have to fight the urge to flip her over, rip her dress to shreds and fuck some manners into her.

I stare at her while time passes.There’s so much I’d like to do but I must hold my ground.She needs to learn I’m in charge.The longer I stare, the darker her eyes become, to the point they become hooded.Oh yes, treasure, I see the lust you try to hide in those delicate eyes.

While I’m still holding her chin, I move my thumb toward her lower lip, brushing it over her plump flesh.Her tongue darts out to meet me, so I slide it further into her mouth.It’s a bold move on my part, and one I’m enjoying as much as she is, apparently.

I see her fighting within.Every move I make only encourages her to respond, and fuck me is she responsive.

I push my thumb further into her mouth, moving past the first knuckle, and she closes her lips around it and sucks as I pull it from her mouth.Toward the end, she skillfully flicks her tongue, and be damned if my dick isn’t begging to be in her mouth.

The flash of disappointment doesn’t go unmissed as I step back.

“Plans have changed.We need to move.You can either come quietly or I’ll have Tony sedate you again.”

She stares at me with disbelief.“You wouldn’t?”

“Treasure, I think you underestimate me.You should know I’ll do whatever it takes by now.”

“Keep your psycho friend away from me and you have a deal.”

“Tony will be most disappointed.Come, and this is your only warning, Savannah.You don’t want to know your punishment if you disobey.”

Once more, the slight shift in her eyes tells me she’s enjoying this.
