He laughs so loud, it warms me up inside and my heart swells. I can’t help but join in. I think I have laughed more with him than anyone. I love it. The light of the city comes into view and I’m filled with excitement. I feel another little squeeze to my thigh and I know it means he is watching me. He loves when I’m happy or excited. I look over at him and blow a little kiss to him. He winks back and faces the road to continue his mission as I stare out the window in awe of the nightlife surrounding us.

KOHEN

Ilook over at Alex every few minutes. I love the way she looks at everything as if it's Christmas morning. She is so tough and so strong because she’s had to be but with me, she’s free. Free to be herself, to let go, and I fucking love it. Making her happy means everything to me. Sure, she has her moments, her triggers and trauma but I got her, and I think she is starting to see it, too.

She said she’s mine, all the times I have teased, pushed, and tried to please her into saying the words and she said it all on her own. I take the exit to the towers of the Americas restaurant. She practically breaks her neck to look at me and I pretend not to notice.

“Kohen!” she shouts.

“Yes, Angel?”

“You took the exit to that restaurant in the sky.”

I laugh and she smacks my arm. Her signature move. “Ouch, what the fuck was that for?”

“You.” That's all she says- one word like I’m supposed to hear all the words in front and behind it.

“Me?” I question, confused.

Her angry little face looks so cute, one eyebrow raised, arms crossed, lips pouty. I want to rub my hard cock along those pouty lips, smearing my come all over them, mixing it with the gloss of her red lips. “Yes, you. You should have told me you were bringing me here.”

“You’re welcome,” I state and she rolls her eyes. I would poke fun at her for it like I usually do, but right now I need to put out whatever fire she is trying to start. “I’m sorry, Angel. Cora said...”

She interrupts. “What did Cora say?”

“She said you always wanted to come to the restaurant in the sky.” I try and hold back my smile.

“Well, she lied.”

“No, she didn’t.” I pull into the parking lot and drop the car off with the valet. Alex refuses to get out so the valet drives her back around when she realizes it’s a far walk. She’s such a brat sometimes. She walks up to the bench I’m sitting on and plops down next to me.

“I’m sorry,” is all she states and places her head on my shoulder.

“It's fine, you little brat, but it would be nice to know why you were upset.” I use air quotes and she bites her lip, trying not to laugh.

“I don't know. I just feel likePretty Woman.”

I laugh and she pushes her bottom lip out. “Pretty woman? Why?”

“Well, because you sent me out with your black card, and now we’re at his fancy place. I feel like I don't belong or like I’m the prostitute and you’re the rich guy paying for my services,” she whispers that last part and I laugh again. “Kohen, stop laughing at me,” she giggles the words out.

“Angel, you are a pretty woman but you’re notPretty Woman. You’re mine and I want you to be happy and to feel good. I want to be the one who makes all your dreams come true.”

“I can make my own dreams come true, ya know. I don't need you or your money.”

I grab both her hands and bring them to my lips, kissing her knuckles. “I know, Angel, but I need you, and I want to do all these things together. It’s not a power play, Alex. You should know me better than that by now. We are equals, I just want you to see that you have a good man and you don't have to do it on your own because I got you.”

Her shoulders relax and she leans back into me. “Okay,” she states simply.

“Okay?” I ask, making sure it’s all good.

“Yeah. Okay. You’re right.”

“Now let’s go enjoy dinner.” We lock hands and head to the door.

“Good, ‘cause I’m hungry. This better be worth it”
