“Yep, like it?”

I do but I won’t admit it. “You have another kitchen up here?” I scoff.

“Yes, this is my private quarters, two bedrooms, a game room, office, and kitchen.”

“And no bathroom?” I ask, one eyebrow up in question. He smooths it with his thumb and the simple touch ignites me. I can feel my breath speeding up, my chest rising and falling a little faster.

“Of course, I have a restroom, Angel. Want me to show you?”

“Yes,” I say without thinking. Why the fuck do I want to see the restroom? In my head I heard him ask me if I wanted to do something much dirtier.

Taking my hand in his, he walks me through a short hallway and we pass the kitchen. Surprise- black marble and black appliances. We reach the door of the restroom, and he uses his hand as if to show me the way. I turn the knob, push it open, and my jaw drops. I think I even drool on the floor and I’ll gladly lick it up.

The bathroom is one huge room. There’s a glass box in the far corner with a huge platform shower head. I bet it’s one of those rain ones. Making my way further in, there’s a bidet and a toilet, and his and hers sinks. My stomach drops at the thought of him sharing this space with someone, but I snuff those emotions away because we are nothing but an infatuation to each other. There is a garden tub with eucalyptus and lavender, the same thing I have in my restroom.

I look over my shoulder at him and he is brushing his teeth. What an odd thing to do at a time like this. I run my fingers over the smooth counter. I am pleasantly surprised that this room is actually all white. The gold accents still litter the space, from the handles on the sink and toilet, to the little specks embedded in the counters.

“This is gorgeous, Kohen. I know this is going to sound weird, but I love bathrooms. Like, I am obsessed with them. I haveBetter Homemagazines that focus primarily on restrooms. If I ever do anything in my life to where I can own my own home, I want a bathroom just like this”.

I turn around and see he is leaning against the sink, ankles and arms crossed, just looking at me. A huge smile adorns his gorgeous face.

“What?”

“Nothing, I just think it’s cute that you are so happy about a restroom.”

“This is NOT a restroom, this is a bathroom.”

“Okay, bathroom,” he chuckles.

“It’s not funny. There is definitely a difference.”

Something strange possesses me and before I know it, I’m moving toward him. I plant myself directly in front of him. He uncrosses his legs and his arms and pulls me against his body. My small feet sit in the middle of his big ones. I wrap my arms around his neck, my fingertips barely touching because he is so tall. He leans down and kisses me. Something about the kiss sends a vibration of warmth through my body. The kiss isn’t sexual- it’s soft and intimate. I pull away and look up at him.

“Why did you do that?”

“Do what? Kiss you?” Confusion etches his face.

“Yeah.”

“Because I wanted to.”

“Well, don’t.” I walk out of the restroom and back out to the living room, eyeing the front door. I look back and he isn’t following me. Pausing to calm my racing mind, I sit on the couch, waiting for him to walk in here.

“Why don’t you want me to kiss you?”

Is he really talking to me all the way from the bathroom? I take my heels off and walk back over there on a mission to talk shit, when I see him standing in front of the mirror in just his boxers. I’m a little shocked because I wasn’t expecting him to be brave enough to just be walking around almost naked. It takes a few moments to register all the tattoos I never noticed before. He has several big pieces on his back and chest, as well as some trailing down his arms. How did I miss them?

“Why don’t you want me to kiss you?” he asks with floss in his hand, pulling me out of my trance .

“Why are you brushing your teeth and flossing right now?”

“Answer me first.” He tosses the floss in the small metal trash can and I roll my eyes.

“Because you kissed me all nice and soft and I didn’t like it?”

“How do you want me to kiss you?”

“I don’t know, Kohen, like normal, but don’t change the subject. Why are you going through your whole dental routine right at this moment?”
