I shoot up from the sofa and walk over to her, sliding my hands up her jaw before she can protest, and I fucking kiss her.
“Liam,” she breathes, holding onto my hand for support.
I grin.
“Sorry babe. I couldn’t help myself. Those lips of yours were begging to be kissed.”
She rolls her eyes playfully. “Thanks. Now you’ve ruined my lip gloss and you’ve got lipstick on your lips.”
“I don’t mind if it’s yours.”
“Lost cause.” She retorts, shaking her head.
I wiggle my forefinger at her with a smile on my face. “Lost for the right cause and that’s you.”
The scornful look on her face is priceless and I chuckle at that.I lace my fingers with Lily’s and lead her all the way downstairs to the Mercedes I leased when we got here. It’s parked in the driveway and I help her inside, then walk around to climb into the driver’s seat beside her. I pull the car out onto the highway, and Lily’s face lights up.
“Where are we going?”
“You’ll see.” I smirk, turning the volume of the radio up a little.Take a Chance on Meby ABBA plays from the stereo and the lyrics leave me deep in thoughts throughout the ride.Lily watches out the window the entire ride too, her mind obviously plagued by the same thoughts that plague me.
Oh you can take your time baby, I'm in no hurry, know I'm gonna get you
You don't wanna hurt me, baby don't worry, I ain't gonna let you
Let me tell you now
My love is strong enough to last when things are rough
It's magic
You say that I waste my time but I can't get you off my mind
No, I can't let go
'Cause I love you so.
Lily sighs loudly as the song continues and I take that as my cue to change the channel and the music.
Like a moth to a flame, I can’t stop my eyes from drifting to her as the car bumps along the highway. Part of me wants to pull over, just to sink my cock inside her, and watch those plump lips as she cries my name. The other—the sane part—just wants to wrap my arms around her and hold her close while we say nothing but stare into each other’s eyes.
A feeling I’ve never experienced before but it sure as hell excites me and scares me in equal measure.
The ride passes quickly, and before I realize it, I’m pulling into the Disneyland park in Paris, now lit up by the Foire du Trône, an annual festival I only just discovered a few hours ago from the magazine I was reading earlier.
I look over at Lily. Her eyes are wide, the lights of the fair reflecting in her eyes. No sign of the gloomy expression she had on her face a while back.
She looks over at me excitedly. “Oh my god. This looks amazing!”
“It sure is. This is the Foire du Trône, an annual festival held in Paris. Turns out we arrived at the best possible time. Rides, a pie-eating contest, a jam-making contest, lots of greasy food, and games. Oh, and a lot more that I can’t remember but we’ll find out soon enough.”
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Lily so excited, and fuck, it makes me happy.
I laugh as I get out, walk around the car, and open her door.
She scrambles from the passenger seat breathlessly. “I’ve never been to a fair like this. Can youbelieve that? We went to the carnival when I was like four, but that’s it, and I hardly remember it. Say what you like but I’ve always wanted to do this again sometime. Thanks, Liam.”
“Well, now you can. You’re welcome.”
