“No, but he knows I can take it and won’t hold it against him. Honestly, I’d rather he do it to me than the rest of our employees.”

“I’ve been dying to go for a run. I’ve been sitting at my computer for entirely too long. Want to come with?”

“Yes, and then we’ll need a shower, of course.”

I grin. “Of course.”

“Fuck, Matthew,” I moan.

His head is buried in my pussy, devouring me as water pours down onto his back. We jumped into the shower the minute we got back from our run. It didn’t take long before our hands began to wander and he was pushing me against the cold tile wall of the shower.

His teeth nip at my clit, and I explode around his fingers. He pulls away from me to lift my leg around his hip. Then he’s thrusting inside me without hesitation. His strokes prolong my orgasm as he hammers into me. My entire body is coiled tight around him, each wave pulsing through me in one continuous string of ecstasy.

“Every. Fucking. Time,” Matthew growls. Each word is punctuated by a thrust until he’s groaning through his release.

My legs are jelly. The only thing keeping me up right now is Matthew’s body pressed into mine.

“I’m addicted to you, pretty girl,” he whispers against my lips.

I press my forehead against his. “Good. Because I’m just as addicted.”

He kisses me and pulls me back under the warm water. We get cleaned up for the second time before getting out of the shower.

I love the easiness between us that’s only grown since we gave in to our feelings. We move around each other as if we’ve been doing it for years. It’s created this intimacy I’ve never experienced with anyone else.

If we could stay like this forever, I’d be the happiest woman in the world.

We head down to the kitchen to make dinner. I put together a salad while Matthew gets out the steak. “I forgot to tell you that my parents are going to be here this week.”

Matthew freezes with the pepper shaker in his hand. He turns around with a blank look on his face. “That’s good. I bet you’ve missed them.”

I cock my head to the side. “I have. Mom asked me to stay with them, but I told them no. The hovering alone would drive me crazy.”

When Matthew’s shoulders relax, I suddenly realize why he reacted that way.

“Did you think I would leave when they got here?” I ask.

“They’re your parents. What else would they have wanted you to do?”

“True, but I’m also almost thirty. I haven’t lived with my parents in ten years. I probably would’ve stayed with Desmond over my parents.”

“Fair enough.” He turns back to the meat. I walk up behind him and wrap my arms around his waist.

“I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else but right here,” I say into his shoulder blades.

Matthew turns around and squeezes me against his chest. “I don’t want you to be anywhere else.”

“Good. Then I’m staying.”

He looks into my eyes, something flashing there I’m not certain of. “You’re staying.”

CHAPTER22

Matthew

Ibend over to touch my toes. My hamstrings are stupidly tight tonight from the extra miles I’ve been running with Tilly. The girl has a stamina I can only dream of matching.
