Thanks to the money she accumulated during her days, She was able to invest some and buy her own house. While she didn't have to bother about housing to worry about other commodities.

Like me, she had actually dropped her past life and retired from it. So, the income was reduced drastically compared to before. She followed her dreams and opened a mini restaurant not too far from the house.

Thanks to my business management skills, we grew the restaurant to produce substantial income. Nevertheless, I still wanted to send her some anytime I made money just because it made me feel good.

"This is nice," Lucas complimented the house. "I should probably get something like this. Simple, comfortable."

"That reminds me, you are working on renovating your house, right?" I asked, trying to find small talk while looking around for signs of anyone looking for us.

"Yes, and you seem awfully jumpy," he said. "Let's just go in."

Inside the house, the TV was switched off. I checked the kitchen, and there weren't any dirty dishes. We made our way to the room.

"Hold on, let me check if she's properly dressed," I said and went in.

My aunt had a habit of sleeping naked.

"Who's there?" she asked, her voice had gotten better. She settled her eyes on me, "Olivia, is that you?"

"Thank God, you're okay," I sighed and embraced her.

"I told you I would be okay, but you didn't listen," she sighed.

"Why would I listen When there might be a chance that I was losing my only family left?" I asked

"Oh, stop, you're going to make me cry," she teased.

"And here I am pouring my heart out to you." I rolled my eyes. "You old hag."

"Thank you, my princess," she said. "Is someone with you? I could have sworn I Heard someone else."

"Come in," I said to Lucas. He opened the door, letting himself in.

"Pardon me," he excused himself as he stepped inside.

"Oh my word." My aunt looked like she had seen a god. "He's so good-looking."

"Thank you," Lucas smiled. "You look stunning." He paused and turned to look at me, "Are you sure she's sick? She looks healthy."

My aunt giggled at the compliment." Using my sickness against me isn't fair."

"You've never complimented me." I frowned.

"Are you sure?" He raised a brow. "Maybe It's because your beauty makes me unable to find the words to compliment you. Very indescribable."

My cheeks and ears turned red from embarrassment as he complimented me.

"Why choose now to be flirting?" I grumbled.

"My name is Lucas. Doctor Lucas Hills."

"I'm Sarah, Olivia's aunt," she introduced herself, "I'm sorry you had to meet me like this."

"As long as you are alive, then I don't mind the form I see you in," he replied.

"You have to tell me where you got this client," my aunt slipped out.

"Client?" Lucas raised a confused brow.
