"Alright," I nodded. "I'll get the flower myself."
"Good luck, Master Lucas," he said before hanging up.
Just as the call ended, my doors opened, and Olivia came in.
"I'm done for the day," she announced. "I've emailed you everything you need for tomorrow."
"Thank you. Any issues?" I asked.
"We're all set to go," she replied, smoothing out her skirt and adjusting her hair.
She wore a simple blouse and skirt, which gave her a smart but sexy look. I noticed that she had that sexy effect with almost every outfit she wore.
"I feel underdressed," she chuckled nervously. "You?"
"I think you're perfect, just the way you are," I assured her. "Besides, it's impromptu."
"I guess so," she said. "Forgive me, I haven't been on a proper date in a while."
"I haven't been in one at all," I admitted. "Maybe you can show me how it works."
"Sure thing," she said with a smug look.
Olivia
He wasn't kidding when he said he hadn't been on a date before. We agreed not to make it romantic or intimate, but everything he did fell into place as romantic. The first place we got to was a florist. He wanted to get me a flower. The florist asked him a barrage of questions.
"Is she allergic to pollen?" the lady asked.
"Oh, I don't think so," he replied.
Just by looking at me, the woman realized that it was his first time doing this.
She raised a brow, communicating with me through her eyes,Should I help him out?
No, let's see him figure it out,I blinked back.
She shot a glance.
"What's her favorite flower?" she asked.
"A rose?" He turned to look at me, and I shook my head negatively.
"Favorite color?" the lady continued, enjoying herself.
"White," he answered, turning to look at me.
"Lucky guess," I scoffed, and he grinned like he had accomplished something.
"White flowers," he said.
"What kind?" she asked.
"I…" he turned to look at me for help, but I looked away, suppressing the urge to laugh with all my being.
"I don't…tulips?" He raised a brow. "Daisies?"
I shook my head, holding my mouth as I laughed into my hand. He frowned.
