“Fine but don't misbehave,” he said as he lifted me and placed me over his shoulder.
He spanked my ass and chuckled to himself. I looked around the room and noticed my purse was in the bedroom along with my clothes.
“Please refrain from touching me carelessly. I belong to someone else,” I warned.
“Well, before that someone else finds out where you are, it might already be too late,” he sighed. “So, try to make your last moments a little pleasurable for both of us.”
He said it with a carefree attitude, but I was scared shitless. As promised, he moved me to a new room and tossed me on the bed.
He caressed my thighs and looked at me. “Remember when we would have sessions like this?”
“I remember that I hated it,” I replied.
“Well, there's no lie in that,” he sighed. “But you always seemed to endure it, and it made me feel bad.”
“If it made you feel bad you would have stopped, but you didn't until I quit that life,” I reminded him.
“You have a point there. I wish we could start over,” he mumbled.
“As friends and nothing more? You could get started on that if you just untied my hands,” I advised, hoping to calm him from doing anything else.
“No not as friends. You see, I didn't realize that you were with Dr Lucas Hills, of all people,” he said. “The organization I'm with has already started making a move on his family.”
“What?” I asked. “What do you mean organization? Are you a criminal, Liam?”
“Well, since you're going to die soon, I think I can tell you, “He replied. “First of all, my name is not Liam. I'm Victor Thornfield.”
“Thornfield? That's an actual sick last name.”
“While I do know that you're trying to flatter me to buy more time, I should at least thank you for trying,” he said. “And yes, I'm more or less a criminal. I find beautiful girls like you and put them in situations where they have to pay me back, but you kind of skipped that whole thing. Then you just disappeared.”
“When the boss sent me to Richmond to find out about the Hills family, I didn't expect to see you again,” he added. “I just knew that it was the heavens at work on my behalf.”
“Well at least you push drugs, right?” I asked.
“Well organ trafficking,” he replied as he eyed my body again. “I know you're a very healthy woman. Hopefully, you don't have any STDs from your past experiences.”
“But there has to be another way you could do this,” I said. “It doesn't have to be like this.”
“You're right it doesn't,” he said. “My role is to monitor Lucas. When you said we met in the hospital by coincidence, I meant it. I had gathered some highly confidential medical reports and planned to release them. Naturally, that would anger people who have placed their trust in Lucas.”
“It would cripple his connections, as many would come to doubt his confidentiality as a doctor,” he explained. “He would have to listen to demands from my boss. Then he will disappear and get killed. That's the rough idea.”
“What did Lucas ever do to you?” I asked.
“He didn't do anything, and none of his siblings did anything,” he explained. “It's just their rotten luck that they happened to be born to awful parents. At least, that's what the boss said. I don't even care as long as I get paid.”
“Lucas isn't the only one being monitored right now?” I asked.
“As we speak, one of the most dangerous guys is already on the move,” he said.
“What does it have to do with me?” I asked.
“I haven't told the boss anything,” he responded. “He doesn't know about you…” He started to caress my thighs. “It would have nothing to do with your relationship with Lucas if you hadn’t become a bargaining chip to eventually be gotten rid of.”
“So, here's my plan,” he said. “I will get someone else to take your place. Then I will leave the documents with my boss as planned; but you and I can go far away, living in peace together as a couple.”
“So, you're saying that I should give up on Lucas?” I asked.
