“I don't think that's a good idea,” I said.
“You're right. Why bother with cheap fakes, when I have the real deal?”
Fuck.
“Olivia, Could you recreate the pictures we had? This time of you and Lucas?”
“What the hell are you talking about? Are you sick?”
“Temper sweetheart, temper. You don't have to be so against it. Just think about it. Who knows it might cancel your debt?”
“You better think of something else.”
I groaned in frustration and bumped into someone, dropping the things I had bought along with my phone.
“That's why I say watch where you're going,” a familiar voice said.
I looked up and recognized Isaac and Gregory, Lucas' younger brothers.
“Oh, it's Olivia,” Gregory remarked. “It is a pleasure to see you again.”
“It's a pleasure to see you too,” I returned.
“Who is she?” Isaac asked.
“I'm Olivia Sinclair, Lucas's secretary and a friend of your father'sex-fiancé,” I said to introduce myself.
“Why didn't you guys tell me she was so pretty?” Isaac asked and reached for my hand. “Isaac Hills, at your service.”
I offered him my hand, and he kissed it.
“Charmed,” I said to play along.
“You can't even wait three seconds before you start flirting?” Gregory asked.
“I can't help it,” he confessed. He let go of my hand and went to pick up the things I had dropped to returning them to me. “I wouldn't recommend this product for your…monthly business. There's a cheaper one right here that gets the job done better. Take it from a doctor.”
“Oh, I didn't know,” I said as I read the label. “Truth be told, I couldn't find the brand I normally use, so I chose one that looked good enough.”
“Well, you must be glad that I got here,” Isaac continued. “What say we go get some drinks after this?”
“Aren't you two busy?” I asked.
“We only came here by coincidence,” Gregory explained.
“But meeting you here must be fate,” Isaac added, smoothly. “So drinks?”
I need to turn him down without sounding rude. He sounds like a good guy, but I'm not really in the mood after Liam.
“No drinks,” a voice said from behind. Someone wrapped their hands around my shoulder ,pulling me to their chest. “You can go home both of you.”
Lucas had gotten to the store earlier than I had expected.
“Good afternoon, sir,” Isaac greeted him.
“Pleasure to see you, Lucas,” Gregory chimed in.
“What are you two doing to her?” Lucas asked as his grip on my shoulder tightened.
