Killian's knot released me first, followed quickly by Lucien's. They pulled out of me carefully, and I let go of Duncan's knot in my mouth. I looked around at the bath water and felt slightly grossed out.

I had really wanted a nice hot bath to wash away my ordeal.

"Everybody, out please. I need to take a proper shower and wash away germs and whatnot," I commanded out.

I really loved my authoritative voice. I should use it more often.

Lucien lifted me up onto the tub edge to sit on, while Killian drained the tub for me.

Kayden spoke up while we were waiting. "Adrianna, I'd like to show you a proper tour of our home tomorrow if you're feeling up to it."

"Yes! I'm getting sick of staring at the same four walls. It's finally time to leave my room." I said excitedly.

Apparently, they had flown me out to the official Bloodmoon pack lands while I was in critical condition. I had been on bed rest since I had arrived and I had no idea what the rest of the house or lands looked like.

While this bathtub experience was a pleasurable distraction, I really wanted to see the outside world and get a chance to breathe some fresh air.

I happily got into the freshly scrubbed shower that Killian had prepared for me. I waved goodbye to my pack before closing the shower curtain and scrubbing away all the germs I was imagining in my head.

I felt on top of the world with happiness. Kayden was not going to give me away to the omega nest. My body had healed faster than I thought possible. And, most of all, I had a wonderful, amazing pack that would go through hell and back to make sure that I was safe.

I relaxed into the hot spray of the shower and wondered how I had gotten so lucky. After running away from Kayden and his pack, I could see how cruel and ugly the world could be. My parents had shielded me from the worst of it, especially by hiding my omega nature. But now I knew, as an omega, I could never live on my own and I needed a pack to survive.

Kayden and his alphas were my future, and I was ready to see the Bloodmoon pack lands and accept it as my new home.

Chapter 15

Kayden

Everythingneededtobeperfect for when Adrianna toured the grounds. Our pack was much larger than most, and we functioned as a sort of little village. There was the main house, where me and the other alphas lived. And now Adrianna. My mouth curled up in a grin. She had boldly claimed her pack yesterday and decided to stay with us after all.

Surrounding the main house were tiny shops that the numerous betas living in my lands ran. They all lived in a large apartment complex right next to a beautiful lake. They sometimes frequented the human stores for specific supplies or services if the beta stores did not have it.

Everything was well organized, maintained and ran smoothly.

I headed back to the house, a little nervous to see Adrianna's reaction to it all. What if she hated it and demanded to return to her home? What if she changed her mind about wanting to be with this pack?

I shoved those feelings way deep down inside and made my way to her room.

My breath caught in my throat as I beheld the gorgeous omega. She sat at the dressing table, brushing out her long, wavy red hair. It glinted, reflecting out the sunlight. She wore an emerald green dress that hugged her curves in all the right places and a dramatic smokey eye look.

She turned to me and smiled, and I had to restrain myself from going over there and rutting into her like a beast.

Today was going to be perfect, I reminded myself. We were going to show her the grounds and take her out on a proper date. The goal was to charm her, not fuck her. I willed my erection to stay down and not be so obvious in my pants.

"Are you ready for your tour, gorgeous?" I said, making my way over to her.

"Yes," she said. " I just don't have a pair of shoes on me. I've been in bed all these days."

"I got you, baby," Duncan walked in carrying a brand new shoe box.

I glared at him as he walked by. I wanted to be the one to provide for her today, and I didn't like him interfering. He smirked at me as she opened the box and exclaimed over the shoes. They were glittery green flats that matched her dress and her eyes perfectly.

Killian walked in next, wearing a suit and holding a bouquet of flowers. I gaped at him. Never in my life have I seen him wearing a suit. This was clearly a sabotage.

They didn't tell me we were bringing gifts.

I felt foolish standing there with nothing as she gushed over the smell of the "perfectly picked" roses. I glared at Killian, and he shrugged. At least I knew Lucien wouldn't stoop down to their level. I prepared my arm to escort the lovely Adrianna, but she gasped, looking past my shoulder.
