“Mm, I like the sound of that—my husband, Danny—”

“Tailor,” I interrupted, and she pulled back, her eyes wide. “If that’s okay.”

Sara gazed at me, and her eyes filled with so much love, so much adoration, and gratitude that it almost made me go to my knees again.

“You would do that?” She whispered.

“I want to do that,” I said and stepped closer. “My father’s name has to die with him.”

It was hard to say who kissed who, but we met somewhere in the middle, in a starlit city, and that was all that really mattered in the end—for our happily ever after.
