Rian’s words came from nowhere, surprising Kylian.

He didn’t stop there. “You’re the only thing I have that wasn’t forced upon me by my father. I love you. It would kill me if you decided you can’t live with me anymore.”

Kylian shifted onto his elbow so he could hold Rian’s stare. “We have a wedding the day after Christmas. I plan to be there with bells on so everyone can see that you’re my everything. You’d better be right there with me, or I’ll poison you for real.”

A smile snapped to Rian’s lips. It fell just as quickly. “Since the beginning, I’ve been scared shitless you would see the real me and run. You falling out of love with me is my biggest nightmare.”

Kylian straddled Rian’s body so he could hold him. “Never. You’re mine and I’m yours. I don’t know if you noticed, but I’m a little crazy. Not just anyone could handle me.”

He felt Rian’s silent laughter. It made him smile. Kylian turned serious. “Really, though. I love you, baby. I didn’t walk into this marriage blind.”

Rian’s gaze slid away. He looked guilty. “Actually, I kind of set you up. I asked the guys to ply you with alcohol in Vegas. I didn’t think you’d marry me under any other circumstances.”

“I know.”

Rian’s gaze shot to Kylian’s face.

Kylian smirked. “It was kind of obvious.”

Rian groaned.

A laugh burst from Kylian. “I have to let you think you’re winning sometimes.”

“What am I going to do with you? Every time I think you’ll hate me for something, you stay. I mean, I hired someone to shoot up your father’s house. That should’ve been it for you,” Rian said as he wrapped his arms around Kylian.

Kylian kissed his chest and shrugged. “That’s the night that brought my dads together. They may not have ever admitted their feelings if not for that event. Everything happens for a reason. You’re my reason for everything. So, I guess you’ll have to keep me. Who else can keep you on your toes the way I do? Everyone else is predictable.”

“Give me kisses, you evil sprite.”

Kylian scrambled to do just that. He would never get enough of Rian. Kylian had known the day they married he had tied himself to a good man. No matter what the world saw. Kylian had known it. He made Kylian so damn proud. Now he knew that would never change. Rian was the best decision he had ever made. For once, he belonged completely. He would never give up on this man. They were forever.
