Kylian’s features softened. His fingertips skimmed Rian’s nape. “Dang right we are. I’ve already spiked one of your drinks and put screws under your tires for weeks. You haven’t seen a thing yet if you think to cheat.”
A bark of laughter burst from Rian. “I told Warden there was no way we were running over screws every damn day. He was convinced we kept picking them up at a construction site we visit.”
Kylian’s smile was everything. “Nope. ‘Twas me.”
Rian shook his head. “Imp.” He dipped his head and stole a kiss before moving to skim his lips across Kylian’s chin. “I see I’ll have to always keep one eye locked on you.” He licked Kylian’s collarbone above the edge of his shirt before moving lower. “You plan to keep me on my toes.”
“I do.”
Rian lifted his head at the words. He popped the button on Kylian’s shorts. “You will say that again soon.” This time, Kylian didn’t laugh. They held each other’s stare as Rian moved lower. A flush rose on Kylian’s cheeks as Rian set his erection free. Rian dipped his head and licked Kylian’s crown. A stuttered-sounding breath caressed his ears as Rian swallowed Kylian’s cock.
“Wow. I probably can’t do that.”
The laughter that burst from Rian was completely beyond his control. He pressed his face against Kylian’s stomach and roared with laughter. Fuck. There was no way Kylian could understand. His entire life had been about becoming his father. There hadn’t been laughter or happiness. He wasn’t his brother. Rian couldn’t separate work from himself to still enjoy life. But this goddamn sexy and full of life guy had come from left field and took his knees out. Kylian had invaded every inch of Rian and brought the sunlight.
Kylian ran his fingers through Rian’s hair. “Are you laughing at me?”
Rian lifted his head. He had to force his laughter under control. “Absolutely not. You just make me incredibly happy.” Rian crawled up Kylian’s body, setting his cock free as he went. “It doesn’t matter what you can or can’t do. I don’t care if you never touch my dick again, even though I hope you will. Being with you is the only thing that matters to me. I don’t care how we spend our time, as long as we’re together.”
Kylian’s hand snaked its way between them. He palmed Rian’s erection. “It’s a good thing I’m not going anywhere, then.” He stroked. “And I very much want to touch your dick.”
Rian captured Kylian’s mouth, and their tongues fought for dominance. They pleasured each other. Rian had never been more breathless and consumed, especially from a hand job. But he knew it was Kylian’s hand, and they were so damn good together. When he came undone from Kylian’s touch and found himself covered in Kylian’s cum, all was right in his world. The best part was this was it was only the beginning.
Chapter Eight
Afteralongnightand the amazing experience of holding Kylian all night, Rian woke up alone. Panic sent his heart racing into his throat. Before he could shoot from the bed and frantically search the room, the bedroom door opened on their three-bedroom penthouse. Kylian strolled in with coffee and a white paper bag stamped with a local favorite cinnamon roll shop.
“Holy shit. Did you go out without protection?”
Kylian flashed him a smile as he set his haul on a nearby table. “Good morning to you too. Don’t worry. Anton refused to let me leave the room until he went with me. You do realize I’m grown and I’m usually alone, right?” He didn’t wait for Rian to answer. “Oh. I ran into these three huge guys in the hallway. We had a really interesting conversation. They were all three married to each other. I’ve never seen that before. They gave me this invitation.” Kylian pulled a piece of paper from his back pocket. “Apparently, there’s a private, all-day Pride party happening at the rooftop pool today.” He waved the paper at Rian. “Do you want to go?”
Rian fought a smile. “You make a friend everywhere you go, don’t you?”
Some of the happiness left Kylian’s eyes. “No. Not everywhere.” He turned away and went to work on the cups.
Rian stood and closed the distance between them. He wrapped his arms around Kylian’s waist and kissed his nape. “I’m your friend. I’m everywhere you go.” An adorable chuckle caressed Rian’s ears. He smiled against Kylian’s skin. “I’d love to go to an all-day pool party with you.” Rian reached past Kylian and snagged a cup. He took a careful sip before going back to nuzzling Kylian’s neck. “I was sad to wake up without you, but I appreciate breakfast.”
“You were sleeping so peacefully, and I get the feeling you don’t get to do that often. I want you to have the best and most relaxing vacation possible.”
It was almost ridiculous how much Kylian considered everyone else above himself. This trip was supposed to be for Kylian. Not him. The city of sin had nothing to offer someone like him. Someone who had every vice at their fingertips twenty-four-seven.
Kylian pulled out a chair at the small two-person table. “Sit. Eat. I’ll find our swimsuits.”
Rian sat. “What about you?”
“I ate on the way upstairs.” He flashed Rian an apologetic smile. “Sorry. The time difference was killing me. I’m used to eating much earlier than this.”
His eyes slid toward the clock. It was ten a.m. Vegas time. That meant it was one p.m. their time. Rian blinked. He hadn’t slept past eight a.m. New York time in ages. His dad had always believed that being an earlier riser was a hallmark of staunch discipline. “Damn. What time were you up?”
Kylian shrugged as he dug through their clothes. “Around six.”
Damn. “I haven’t been a very good host so far.”
A sexy chuckle rumbled from Kylian. “Vacations are supposed to be a no rules experience. You eat at weird hours, sleep until you’re content, and the calories… whew.”
Rian couldn’t stop smiling as he savored the breakfast Kylian bought him. He had forgotten how much he liked cinnamon rolls. It had been years since he had one. That was another rule from his father. Bland food built character. Now that Rian thought about it, maybe he didn’t have as much sin at his fingertips as he thought. Maybe all he had was blood. Kylian stripped, distracting Rian from his spiraling thoughts.
“Breakfast and a show.”
