Finally Benicio quickened his movements, and soon he was fucking David with passion, ramming his cock hard and deep into his mate’s ass. It was the most amazing feeling in the world. Benicio could die this second and know that he had visited heaven already.
David began to thrust back on Benicio’s cock, the grip like an iron fist as Benicio trembled. He groaned, looking down to where their bodies joined together, watching his cock reappear from David’s giving flesh.
Benicio leaned forward, pressing his chest into David’s back muscles. An explosion rocketed through Benicio’s body, the sensation racing down his arms and then scattering to the four corners. His powers were fully restored.
His mind was fragmenting as he shoved his cock into David’s ass, his seed forcefully being suctioned from his body. Benicio gritted his teeth as shock waves rushed through him.
David was right behind him, shouting as his body jerked and bucked, his hole milking Benicio’s cock.
David arched his back, letting out a guttural sound. Benicio slowed his movements, wiping the sweat from his face with his hand, and then he grabbed David’s hips, gently rolling the two of them until they lay on their sides.
Benicio knew that being inside David would never become mundane or routine. Benicio was about to repeat his declaration of love when he heard something crash outside in the hallway.
Chapter Ten
David scrambled off the bed and quickly grabbed his clothes. Now that he was aware there were intruders, he could smell them. Humans. David wasn’t sure who it could be since the leader of the Council of Darkness was dead, and for the past few days, David had been with Benicio, so he hadn’t had his ear to the ground. He had no clue what was going on in the city, let alone who was planning an attack.
His brows shot up when Benicio waved a hand and was instantly clothed. That was one hell of a trick to possess, but David didn’t get a chance to bitch about his mate not dressing him because the door flew open and in stepped—David counted quickly—eleven men.
“We found our heavy hitter,” one guy said with a smirk. “Go get Hound.”
Who in the hell were these people? David was ready to attack, but then Benicio held his hand up. He closed it into a fist one finger at a time. Then he did what looked like a fist pump, and to David’s stunned surprise, the intruders fell to the floor.
“Are they dead?”
“Yes.” Benicio stepped over their bodies as he walked out of the room, David following behind him. “You are about to see why I am so feared.”
David was glad as fuck that power wasn’t aimed at him. Those men had fallen as if their life had been yanked from them. His mate had some pretty terrifying skills.
As they looked over the banister to the main floor below, there were more men. At least twice as many as the ones in their room.
“Which one of you is Hound?” Benicio asked.
David had no idea who Hound was, but he recognized some of the men. They were a part of the Council of Darkness. God, he was sick and tired of this group. They were the main cause of a lot of things going wrong in Ridgeway. If it wasn’t for them, things might have already gotten back to normal.
They were also the reason Benicio had come to Ridgeway in the first place. Eleazar had been blamed for their turmoil, and David wanted to see them pay for the torture and death of so many.
Not just vampires either. They’d killed humans, too.
Which was ironic since this group was made up of nothing but humans, but they deemed anyone who helped vampires an enemy. Even their own kind.
Benicio slowly descended the sweeping staircase. He didn’t look concerned that there were close to thirty men down below, but David was. He was scared shitless.
Still, whoever Hound was, he didn’t identify himself. No one looked in anyone’s direction, as if they’d collectively decided not to give away who their boss was.
David spotted movement behind them, up the stairs. He grabbed Benicio and threw him to the stairs just as a shot rang out, echoing in the large foyer. Benicio turned, his chest still on the stairs, and snarled as he made a fist. The gun in the guy’s hand twisted, and the stranger dropped it seconds before he himself dropped.
When he didn’t move, David assumed the guy was dead.
Benicio pushed to his feet. He’d begun to curl his fingers in when David spotted Matteo. Someone had him, using him as a shield, a gun to his temple.
“Uncurl that fucking fist,” the guy said.
“I assume you are Hound,” Benicio said with a sneer.
David was plenty worried. Not because he thought Benicio couldn’t get Matteo out of his hostage situation but because, if Benicio killed all these men, someone would notice. Someone would know that forty-plus humans had disappeared in one night. That the Ridgeway Riders were no longer plaguing the city.
Most would be relieved, but the disappearance of so many men might still be investigated. He lay a hand on Benicio’s arm. “You can’t kill all of them.”
