Page 64 of Belong With Me

“Hey there, cowboy.” She grinned at me, touching the new hat she purchased today.

I was struck dumb at the sight of her standing there dressed like that. I did the only sane thing I could think of. With a quick movement, I pulled her inside my room, slammed the door closed and pressed her against it.

“Christ, woman, I know you’re heaven, but damn.” I kissed her then nipped my way along her jaw. “I knew you looked like an angel, but fuck if you dressing like this confirms my thoughts that you were sent to me from heaven.”

She giggled as I pressed hungry kisses on her neck, over her shoulders and down her body. Stopping just above the tiny triangle of fabric that was so teasing, I asked, “What could possibly have gotten into that pretty head of yours to have you traipsing about the main house dressed like this?” The thought of Colton or Wyatt catching sight of her dressed like this set my blood boiling.

“Well—” Her hands ran through my hair as my fingers slipped under the thin band covering her pretty pussy and found her wet and waiting. “—I needed an answer to a question?”

With her backed up against the door, I lowered myself to the floor, settling on my knees. I pressed my lips to her thigh and began nipping slowly upward. I looked up at her. “This question requires you to dress like this?” She moaned as I exhaled against the material covering her.

“I wanted to know,” she moaned as my thumb rubbed her bundle of nerves, “if the saying is true.”

“What saying is that?” I growled, my face so achingly close to what I desired most. I was so close to ripping this scrap of material off her.

“Is it true that I should save a horse and ride a cowboy?”

Fuck, she was perfect. Totally and utterly perfect, and I was going to show her just how to ride a cowboy.

“Darlin’.” I decided the flimsy material needed to go, and it gave way as I tugged it quickly, making her gasp as the tattered scrap slowly slid down one leg and I found my prize. “I cannot promise in any way that you’ll be doing all the riding. But for research purposes, let’s find out.”

Lifting her leg to rest over my shoulder, I leaned in, spreading her, and began to feast on the most delicious thing I had ever tasted in my life. She was already dripping wet for me, and it only made me more ravenous for her.

Her fingernails dug into my scalp as she moaned my name aloud. Slipping one of my hands further back, I slid one of my fingers into her warmth. I began pumping while circling my tongue on her clit.

“I’m so close, Ryder.” My name on her lips sounded like a prayer. Pumping my fingers quicker, I grazed my teeth against her bud, then lowered to her entrance as she exploded on my tongue, squeezing my finger so tight I thought it was going to break.

When she finally stopped quivering, I let her leg fall back to the floor and got to my feet, wiping the back of my hand against my lips.

“As much as I want to sink inside you and never ever come back out, we really do need to be getting to the bar.” My hands settled on her waist, and I kissed her firmly as her lips opened in surprise.

I pulled away and walked towards my chest of drawers to pick out a shirt for her. Unravelling it as I lifted it, I then slipped it over her head and tugged it down her body. I turned her to leave, then opened the door before slapping her ass on her way out. “Now go get ready before I lock you in here and never let you leave.”

I enjoyed the look of surprise on her face for a moment before smirking and closing the door. Leaning against it, I breathed heavily. She was going to kill me, and I was going to enjoy every moment of it.

When we arrived at the bar, I opened the door and helped Sienna out of my truck. After walking her inside, I set her up at the bar with Kenzie, with strict orders that she was not to be too heavy handed with her pours. After ordering her drink, I bent in close to her ear. “I’m just heading down to Logan’s. Back in five minutes or so.”

“Go. I’ll be fine.” She shooed me with her hand. “Get going.”

Giving her a smile and waving at my baby sister, I headed outside and walked the sidewalk to Logan’s mechanic shop.

The roller door was open when I arrived. “You here, brother?” I called out as I headed inside his workshop.

“In the back,” came his muffled reply.

Heading that way, I passed a F250 up on a hoist and entered the smaller back room that led out to the backyard. I spotted exactly what he was working on and smiled. “It’s coming together.” The crumpled remains of a red Volkswagen sat in the small patch of yard, with a piece of canvas thrown over the top. It was currently pulled back, though, allowing me to see where he was working.

Popping up from around the back, he wiped his hands on a rag he pulled from a pocket in his overalls. “It’s been a real pain in the ass to repair too. These European cars are no good for big hands like mine.”

Laughing, I watched him round the bug. He looked like a bear next to it. “Just as well you’re not the one who will be driving it then.”

He tossed the rag onto the bench against the outside workshop wall, then collected his bottle of water and drank the whole thing before tossing the empty bottle into the bin at the end of the bench. “There aint no engine in this now, it would be a complete waste of money to do so after the damage it sustained. The repairs I’m doing are purely for cosmetic purposes. Are you still hoping this will convince her to stay?”

“What?” I almost choked on the question.

“Come on, brother. You’re not just paying me to do this for her out of the goodness of your heart. You’re the kindest person I know, but I know you have an ulterior motive behind it.”

That was the problem when you’ve known someone for as long as I’d known Logan. He read me better than I would like at times. This was one of them.
