Just get her to the canyons, then you’ll be home free.

Passing out should have been thenormaleffect of my venom. Her scent surrounded me. The scent of her arousal and the sudden flood between her soft thighs. Her entire body had tensed, and she’d cried out as though she were taking me. I felt the urge to touch her, to cradle her—but that made no sense. I’d never felt the sudden urge to fuck someone like this in my entire life.

Then again, my venom had never given someone an orgasm before. Apparently it was a night of mysterious wonders.

I shook my head, trying to focus on the problems at hand. I kicked on the motor, ignoring the uproar around me. I didn’t have long before the authorities would find out where I was.

“Raider!! Give her back!”

I ignored my brother’s shouts. This was his fault. All his fault. And this human was simply part of my plan.

I was doing this because of him. Because she meant something to him.

Dhagonit. She’s a problem.

My grip tightened on her instinctively as I took off down the road. I’d figure out how to change my plans once we were in the canyons. I had to get there as quickly as possible.

Escaping from the prison they’d held me at had been a stroke of luck. One guard had gotten lax, and I’d been able to break free. Perhaps it was the universe telling me I finally had the chance to clear my name.

The whole planet believed I was the bad guy.

Kidnapping a human probably didn’t help my case.

ButIwasn’t the villain.

We glided over the dusty pavement and I sped around other solarcars and cycles, pushing my trusty bronco as fast as it could go. The road was smooth through this part of the city, although soon it would change. I ignored the sounds of honking and sirens haunting me.

Buck was faster than anyone else could ever be. I’d rebuilt it, made it the best of the best.

Something my brother had always hated. That I could actually build things.

Comet Canyon Saloon was on the outskirts of Canyon City. The city was nestled in the desert, and to the south were the winding mazes of our planet.

Red and purple striped rocks reached for the glittering stars, the color of blood andvholets, a flower native to our planet.

A dust storm brewed to the west, but it wouldn’t hit for at least another hour. After that, we’d be stuck in the hideout until it passed.

Storms on our planet were dangerous if you got caught in them.

It was perfect. I’d be able to plan what to do with the strange human.

Got plenty of time to lose them.

I could get us hidden and hunkered down. I’d have to keep the human tied up and trapped, but we could stay in my hideout until I knew exactly how I’d take my revenge.

Step one was complete.

Step two was a work in progress.

I held her a little tighter, trying not to think about her reaction to me.Her scent, her body, her…

No.

I couldn’t let myself think of her. Maybe it was because it had been so long since I’d been with someone. Being trapped against my will for something I didn’t do meant that I didn’t have apartner. My cocks hardened as her scent hit me again, annoying me. The pressure was intense, my balls aching to release. I felt like she’d cast a spell on me.

Maybe her pheromones were driving me wild. Maybe it was because she was the first woman I'd touched in ages.

Clearly,somethingwas wrong here.
