“What’s a great idea!” I say.
“I agree,” Collin says.
“That’s a killer idea, Shane,” Levi comments.
“Here’s one more,” Shane’s blues eyes bounce around the table, “I’ve been playing around with different smoothie recipes that offer optimal workout fuel, like my s’mores protein shake, Aztec chocolate protein shake or root beer float protein shake.” Those sound sinful! “As I perfect the recipes, I can post them on my site. The end goal is a self-published recipe book. I’m nearly there. Once published, our crowdfunders would receive a signed copy.”
“Holy smokes!” Levi exclaims. “You’re on fire, Shane!”
“I know, right?” Shane nods, a sly smile stretching his lips. “Not all smoothies are created equal. Many are just a big fat sugar dump in your system without giving your muscle the proper nutrients.”
“Shane is right. Not all smoothies are created equal,” I agree. I might not know much about running a business, but I know what fuels the body.
“On top of that, we should get paraphernalia and create some cool swag bags,” Collin suggests. “People love that shit.”
“We should consider branded clothing—t-shirts, hoodies, sweat pants, socks, and caps.” Shane piggybacks on his brother’s suggestion.
“Love it!” Collin says.
“And towels, water bottles and blender bottles,” Shane adds to the list.
Levi claps his hands together. “Perfect!” he exclaims.
“Since this is an app, we should also consider creating an online community,” Collin piles on more brilliant ideas. “Those things are very powerful for retention. Shane, that’s where you should post your smoothie recipes.”
“Good one, Collin,” Levi chimes in.
Collin pumps his chest out and grins.
“What about the Fit Thonix VIP 100 Club?” Shane suggests.
“Yes!” Collin exclaims.
“Now you’re talking!” Levi slams his hand against the table, making me jump. “Oh, sorry, sweetness, I got carried away.”
I brush it off and smile.
This meeting is going so well, it’s like my brain is about to explode. I would’ve never come up with all these phenomenal ideas. Gosh, I was thinking way too small.
I lift my eyes to the ceiling and send God a huge thank you.
“What a perfect way to brand our first one hundred buyers as VIPs,” Levi observes. “Exclusivity is a huge selling feature.”
“Oh!” Collin lifts an excited finger in the air. “If we’re going to have an online community and the Thonix’s value proposition is all about challenging yourself via virtual competitive workouts, let’s wrap it up as a 90-day challenge. Some people will want to lose weight. Some will want to increase their fitness level. And some will want to get more ripped. Regardless, people love attainable goals.”
“Collin is right,” Shane agrees.
“So our Fit Thonix VIP 100 Club gets a 90-day challenge on top of everything,” Levi concludes.
“Exactly!” Collin and Shane respond in unison.
“Once the challenge is over, we want our early adopters to show off their transformation,” Collin continues. “We do it Hollywood style with a big fucking party. I’m talking red carpet, photographers, the press, fitness bloggers and an army of celebrities. After a night like that, you’d have to be living under a rock not to know about Fit Thonix equipment.”
Levi and Shane nod.
Wow. Just wow.
“We’ll create so much buzz with the crowdfunding and we’ll create a second wave when we have our graduation party,” Collin says.
