"I uhh— I’ve got to go. Are you good if I head out? ” I ask. He nods again. Throwing the coffee cup I was sipping from on my way out, I hear my name over my shoulder making me pause and turn.

“Don’t break her heart again.” Xavier says with a stern voice. I grin and turn on my heels, headed for some help.

The bell sounds off on my entrance. Before I can be greeted I walk to the counter with a back towards me.

“Let’s go get our girl back.” Alex drops the espresso she’s currently making and whips around to face me with the biggest smile on her face.

“Shut the fuck up.” I'm still standing with my own excited smile. She screams out loud.

“YES. FINALLY.” She brings her hands to her mouth.

“Oh my god this is my moment, I mean your moment.” Alex takes a deep breath to try and form what she’s trying to say.

“This is the moment. Right?” She asks.

"No better to person to turn for help. What do you say, Bangs?” She crosses her arms.
