I shake my head. “Not for me.”
Logan shrugs. “We’ve done thirty mile days before to get ahead of weather. Not our favorite, but it’s manageable. We averaged about twenty miles a day before Faedra.”
Jasper mutters a curse.
“And you don’t want Logan having to patch anything.” Doug continues, his voice going dry. “He deals with professional athletes. He’ll have no sympathy for your idiotic decision of trying to jump the ten foot cliff gap.”
There’s a round of laughter through the group, and then Doug claps his hands. Another man steps up next to him, about three inches shorter than his average stature, his hair nearly all gray, his brown eyes bright.
“Before Doug can kill us with his crappy humor, let’s get a couple group photos and then get started. I promised Brianna I’d kiss her under her waterfall, and I need to make sure I beat Willa to it, or she’ll keep Brianna to herself all night.” He winks, and I can’t help but grin.
The group photos are surprisingly easy to take, and Gina passes the camera the guys gave me for my birthday back to me once they’re finished. She purses her lips, eyeing up Carter again, and I shake my head, running a hand across Iris’s cheek.
“You good to go, Red?” Logan’s question is a murmur against my ear.
When I nod, he kisses his scar again.
“I love you,” I tell my Alphas. They close in around me, kissing whatever part of my neck and face they can reach, and I can’t hold back my grin.
“Always, little Omega,” Carter says, running his thumb over his scar, his gaze hot.
“Another thing off your list, Fae,” Jude murmurs. “I’m proud of you.”
Jude takes my hand, leading me onto the trail, his joy so strong that I know the others can feel it, too. I let my own mix with his, and Logan and Carter both laugh behind us as we take the front of the line, leading our friends and family into the forest.
