She places her hands on her hips, “Trevor is what’s best for all of us.”

“Having a man we cannot trust is never acceptable, Mia.”

My wife looks like she’s been punched in the gut, “You don’t even have the right to fire him. You handed me the reins when you needed to step back. Do you value our relationship at all Max?”

He takes a final gulp of his drink, “Of course I do. You’re my sister and I love you.”

“Take it back or I’m leaving, and you won’t see me again.”

Max isn’t surprised by much because he knows people well. He knows how they’ll respond in certain situations. Right now, he has been thrown for a loop because his face is filled with surprise, “You don’t mean that.”

Mia wipes a tear rolling down her cheek, “I don’t want to, but I do. If I have to choose, I choose my husband. He will always be my choice, Max. As Willow would be yours.”

Max shakes his head, “You know where to find me if you change your mind.”

With a sigh, Mia says, “I won’t.”

She turns to me, “I’m going to say goodbye to everyone and then I’ll be ready. I’ll meet you at the truck.”

Mia walks outside, and I turn to leave, but Max stops me, “Please take care of my sister.”

I nod, “Always.”

With that, my family is gone. Of course, I have Mia and our child, but this hurts. This is the second family I’ve lost. This one hurt far more than the biological family I lost. That’s the problem with having everything you’ve ever wanted. Once it’s in your grasp, you risk losing it. My wife said I looked heartbroken. I am. Max reached in and ripped my heart out of my chest.

MIA

Today’s turn of events was not what I was expecting. I understand my brother being upset by Trevor’s actions, but he took it too far. The fact that he was willing to let me walk out of his life because he’s pissed at Trevor is heartbreaking. If I can forgive Trevor, I don’t understand why Max can’t. I’m the one who is pregnant, not my brother. My hope is that he’ll come around eventually. Max is my last family member still alive. I’m having a family with Trevor now, though. He has to come first, as I would expect him to put me first if the roles were reversed.

My husband has been quiet since we got home. We stopped at the sex shops. I wanted to grab a few things, but I’m in no hurry. I’m not sure he’s in the mood for anything. He and my brother have been friends forever. Max and Trevor are a family, albeit a broken family now. I want to fix this for my husband, but I can’t.

I find Trevor in his office, staring blankly at the wall, “Trev, what can I do?”

“Nothing Kitten.”

Walking around his desk, I place my hand over his chest, “Tell me what you need.”

He gazes at me for a long minute before speaking, “I need you. I need you to take me out of my head, Kitten.”

“Anything you need, it's yours.”

“Go get your stuff you bought and meet me in the bedroom.”

I stand back, looking at him in shock, “We don’t have to. Not today.”

He rises from his chair and grabs my waist, “Do as you’re told, Kitten. I need you to obey me tonight even though I’m giving you control.”

I nod, “Yes sir.”

Trevor

I want to do this for my wife but also for myself. I need to give this part of myself away freely. Mostly, I want to give myself completely to Mia. I want her to know she has every part of me after what she’s sacrificed. This is something I swore I’d never let any woman do to me. However, Mia isn’t any woman. She’s my wife, the mother of my child, my fucking everything.

I walk to the bedroom and find Mia is still in the bathroom. I get undressed while I wait for her. Glancing at the bathroom door, I find my wife standing there looking like an angel wrapped in the devil’s clothing. Jesus Christ, she’s beautiful. She’s wearing a black lacy bra, matching crotchless panties, a black garter belt, and a strap-on. Her long blonde hair is in curls, hanging below her soft shoulders.

“Like what you see, Stalker?”

I can’t help the grin that forms on my face, “Very much.”
