She starts to cut into the base of his dick, and he screams, “He’s here! He’s in the area.”

“Why?” Jade asks.

“He’s trying to get into bed with the De Luca’s.”

Max storms over to him, “How?”

“I don’t know. That’s all I know.”

“Do you know where he’s staying?” Max asks.

“I swear I don’t. He’s in the area. He’s planning something. What, I don’t know.”

Max looks to Jade, “End him.”

She exchanges her blade again and steps back up beside his head, “With absolute fucking pleasure.”

The screaming from Mikey starts before she even makes contact with him.

Holding the blade above his heart, she plunges it all the way inside his chest, leaving only the handle protruding from him. Then she pulls it out with a satisfied expression on her face. The blood gushes from his wound, and in under two minutes, he’s unconscious. Three minutes later, Max checks his pulse, “He’s gone. Get cleaned up. I’ll call cleaners for the body. I need to have a chat with Domenic.”

Jade puts the knife in the cleaning bucket, and Hunter pulls her into his arms, “I’m proud of you, Sassy.” He kisses her on the top of her head. Your first kill is a big deal. She has kicked the shit out of men, but tonight she ended a life and saved countless others.

MIA

Three Weeks Later…

I called the clinic yesterday.I have an appointment in a week when we return from our honeymoon. If Trevor ever finds out I aborted our child, he may never forgive me. This is a decision I may never forgive myself for. I can’t bring a child into our world knowing they will always have a target on their back. Besides, I’m a psycho, or so everyone says. Clearly, any child of mine would be better off never being born. Babies deserve mothers like Willow, not me. I’m a bitch. I know that. What kind of a woman makes this decision without even informing the father? I can barely look at myself in the mirror, but this is how it has to be. Neither of us would budge. This baby would only tear us apart.

A knock sounds on the door, so I get off my chair and go to the door to let my girls in. We are staying at Hunter’s hotel tonight, so we’ll be here for our wedding. We’re already married, but this somehow makes it all seem so real. I told Trevor we didn’t need a fancy wedding, but for some reason, he wants me to experience everything in life. Obviously, I don’t deserve my husband.

Opening the door, I paste a fake smile on my face, “Come in,” I say to Willow, Jade, and Ivy.

Trevor is staying with the guys tonight, and the girls are staying with me. Neither of us are too keen on the idea, but Willow insisted—something about tradition.

“We’ll be right back,” Willow says, grabbing my hand and pulling me into the bedroom.

“Sit,” she orders.

I giggle but play along and sit on the edge of the bed.

“Did you take it?”

I fold my arms over my chest while sighing, “Yes.”

“And? Am I going to be an aunt or what?”

She stands with her hands on her hips. There is no doubt in my mind Willow would make an excellent aunt. I hate disappointing her like this.

“I am but-”

I’m cut off by her squeals of excitement.

“Willow.”

She wipes tears from her cheek, “You’re going to be an amazing mother, Mia.”

I shake my head, “I’m not having it. And you can’t tell Max.”
