Page 33 of An Unhinged Wedding

I pull my fingers from her and suck them clean. Mia tastes so fucking sweet.

I never want to miss a single drop of what she gives to me. Standing up, I pull up my pants along with my boxers, zip, and fasten my belt.

“I’m going with you.”

“Why?”

“Couple reasons. I like being with my wife and I want to see my sister.”

She bends down and picks her purse up from the floor, “Alright, let’s go, husband.”

I follow behind her, watching her sexy ass until she gets to the truck and turns, “Hey Stalker, are you coming?”

Licking my lips, I grin, “Yes, Kitten. Just taking in the view.”

“Pervert,” she giggles.

Her laughter makes my heart lighter. I swear if I could bottle that laughter, I could cure the hostility of the world.

I wrap my arms around her and kiss her lips softly, “Mrs. Kincaid, happiness looks good on you.”

Mia lifts her hand and slowly drags her fingers down my lightly stubbled cheek, “Trev, I love you. I want you to be happy too. Can you be happy if we never have children?”

Her emerald eyes stare wide into my hazel ones, with a hint of fear, so I tell her what she needs to hear, “Yes baby, you make me happy. If we never had a child together, I’d still want you. You make me happy. Anything other than you is icing on the cake, baby girl. You know I want children with you, Mia. If that never happens you are enough.”

She wraps her arms around my waist and presses her face to my chest, “Thank you, Trev. Thank you.”

I’m not sure why she’s so emotional, but I’ll always try to ease her fears. I didn’t lie to her. If for some reason she could never get pregnant, I’d deal with it. I wouldn’t leave her. My wife is fucking perfect. I am tipping the scales in our favor, but if it doesn’t happen that’s fine. I have no problem trying to put a baby into her belly for the next ten years.

“Let’s go,” she says so I let go of her and open the truck door for her.

I get into the driver's side and turn the truck on and pull onto the road when Mia says, “Trev. We’re being followed.”

Without turning my head, I glance into the rearview mirror, the driver seems nervous, he can’t decide if he wants to speed up or slow down.

“Call Max. Put it on speakerphone but don’t lift it. Leave it on the seat so whoever this fucker is don’t see you on your cell.”

Max answers on the second ring, “Hey man, it’s Trevor. Mia is with me, we were on our way to the safe house, but we’re being followed. It’s your house. How do you want me to handle it?”

“Interesting,” he says then continues, “Everybody is here. Willow and Ivy will stay in the house with Savannah. Come to the garage. Go slow like you’re enjoying your girl, not paying attention to your surroundings. Maybe he’ll follow you. Hunter, Jade, Nash, and I will be outside hiding.”

“Max?” Mia asks.

“Yes?”

She looks like she might cry as she responds, “Please be careful.”

“I always am, psycho. But you’re on your way to save me, right?”

Mia giggles, “Yeah, we’re on our way Big Bear.”

They hang up and I take her hand in mine, “Everything will be fine.”

She smiles, “I know. I’m not sure why I’m worried. I never worry.”

As I drive, I keep an eye on the asshole behind me, but he’s still there the entire drive to the safe house. When I turn onto the street he turns with me, he stays back while I open the gates and the garage. Intentionally, I left the gate open until he came in behind me to trap him here. Those gates will not re-open for him. By the time he leaves here, he’ll be a dead man.

“I’m going to come around and open the door for you. I’m going to kiss you once we’re out. I need you to trust me and close your eyes.”
