She bites her lip, and I know she’s trying to keep control of those unshed tears, “There’s a lot in my head right now.”
“Such as?” I ask when she doesn’t say more.
“They said I was ugly. That as soon as anyone got tired of my used up pussy, they’d be done with me. I’m afraid one day you’ll wake up and realize you can do better than me. When Jessica said I could do better, I know she was joking, but it made me think about how lucky I am to have you. What if my luck runs out? What if you meet someone else?”
I tighten my hold on her, “Mia, they wanted to hurt you, break you down. You are not only beautiful but utterly intoxicating. I stalked you for the better part of a year just to look at you. To be close to you when I knew I couldn’t be otherwise. I will never tire of you.”
I wrap her hair around my fist, pull her head back, and look deeply into her eyes, “Don’t you get it, baby? How could there ever be another woman when I’m so fucking in love with you? Irrevocably. Madly. Deeply.”
“Trev,” she whimpers, and I nearly lose my fucking mind.
I grab her throat, and my lips crash into hers, desperate to taste her. She whimpers again and parts her mouth for me. Without hesitation, I slide my tongue against hers, swallowing her moans. I can’t get enough of her. Moving my hand from her throat up the side of her face, I pull away momentarily, my lips ghosting over hers, “Irrevocably. Madly. Deeply.”
Mia throws her head back, moaning for me.
“Fucking delicious,” I run my tongue along her throat before placing soft kisses on the spot just above her collarbone that makes her go crazy.
Then it hits me. I know exactly what I need to do.
“Come on. We’re leaving.”
Breathlessly she pants, “What? We didn’t even eat.”
I chuckle, “I’ll feed you later. I promise.”
She stands, and I rise out of the chair and send a text message on my phone.
“Where are we going?”
I grin, “You’ll see.”
“Do I need to change for wherever we’re going?”
Shaking my head, I say, “No baby. You’re perfect. That white little sundress you’re wearing is my favorite.”
MIA
Ifinally gave up after failing miserably to try to find out where we were going.
“Almost there, Kitten.”
I feign annoyance, “Is there food there?”
He fights a grin but loses, “We aren’t going for food. We have something to do first and then we’ll get you nourishment.”
Our driver pulls up to Hunter’s hotel. Trevor stops at the valet and smiles, “We’re here.”
I can see where we are, but the question is, why are we here?
He gets out and helps me out of the car, “Stop thinking. All will be revealed in a few minutes.”
I groan but take his offered hand and walk into the hotel with him.
Trevor pulls me to the elevator and presses a button, but I don’t have a chance to see what floor we are going to before he pushes me up against the wall and kisses me in a devouring kiss. He pulls away once he hears the ding and the doors slide open. Pulling me to the rooftop, I spot flowers everywhere. How he managed this in such a short time, I don’t understand. Then my gaze lands on a man in a suit standing by a table with a selection of candles lit. If I didn’t know better, I’d think he was proposing, but he already did that.
“Mia, this is Father Terence. He’s going to marry us.”
I nod, “Nice to meet you,” then turn to Trevor, “Why is he here though? We aren’t getting married until Christmas Eve.”
