Page 102 of Meant for Her

When she hesitated, Luke’s blood pressure dropped.

“Yes, on a few conditions.”

He’d give her whatever she wanted. Luke had never been so desperate to please anyone in his life.

“I don’t mean to offend, but I have a household full of really nice furniture.”

“Shit,” Ryan said. “We’ve been wanting to dump our stuff, but didn’t want to spend the money. Consider it done.”

She smiled. “I would like one or two nights a week where I can study. While I’ll want to ravage both of you every evening, I do want to become a doctor.”

Luke looked over at Ryan. “Maybe we’ll have to leave the house if that’s the case. I’m slowly learning that I can’t be around Malia and not make love with her.” He kept his voice down.

The server rushed over. “Sorry to keep you waiting. The cook had an issue, but it’s now resolved. What can I get you all?”

He hadn’t even looked at the menu. “Are you serving breakfast?”

“All day long,” she said with a smile.

With the weight of the world suddenly lifted off his shoulders, Luke’s appetite returned in full force, and he ordered three different breakfast combinations.

“You’re splitting them, right?”

He grinned at her—something he never did. “Nope. All for me.”

Both Ryan and Malia laughed. Once those two ordered, the server left.

“I think we should paint the house,” Ryan said.

Luke loved the idea but money was still tight—unless they really did inherit his father’s other ranch. “Let’s see what happens to Dad. If we can pay off his debts with his money, I’m game.” He looked over at Malia. “Any other requests? Ask while I’m in a good mood.”

“If you are ever moody or unreasonable, I get to ignore you.”

“Ooh, lady, you do drive a hard bargain. I will do my best.”

Ryan looked back at the kitchen. “Even though she just put in our order, I want our food to come right now.”

“You’re as hungry as Luke?”

“No. I just want to go back to the hotel where we can make the three of us official.”

Luke swore Malia’s eyes flashed golden for a moment. “I can’t wait either.”

“I think I ate too much,” Malia said as she entered the hotel room.

If the three of them were going to make their relationship official, she wanted a nice place. It was why she insisted on paying her share of this hotel room, and this room did not disappoint.

Now that the moment to make this relationship official had arrived, Malia wasn’t sure how to begin. Should she insist she strip them naked first, let them take off all of her clothes, or should they all just take off their clothes and jump on the bed. None seemed all that romantic.

Ryan cupped her face. “Earth to Malia. You aren’t having second thoughts, are you?”

“Not me. You?”

“I can’t believe you’d ask. Just look at me.” He dragged a finger down his scruffy jawline and then grabbed her hand and placed it on his crotch. Sure enough, the man was ready to go.

She turned to Luke. “What about you?”
