“Kandi,” Greg tells him.
With that he pops up from his seat.
“Thanks Captain. You're always pointing me in the right direction.” He salutes and heads inside.
Lenny stands also.
“I need another drink. Anyone else need one?” She takes a count of how many she needs to get.
“I’ll help you carry them.” I follow her inside, ignoring the annoyed look she gives me.
I also ignore the suggestive side glances from everyone else around the pit.
“Not afraid of the puck bunnies?” Lenny asks when we get inside.
“Not when I have you with me.” I latch onto her.
“Oh stop. You love the attention.” She pushes me back and opens the fridge handing me beers.
“Lenny, you know that’s not true.”
She stands up with more beer in her hands.
It’s a barrier between us. I pull them away and set them on the counter.
I don’t want any barriers.
I just want her.
I cage her in against the counter hearing her breath hitch.
“I can’t stop thinking about getting you alone with this shirt on, only this shirt on. My cock has been hard since I saw you at my game. The way you wear my shirt like it’s nothing. As if it doesn’t affect me.” I brush my cheek against hers to whisper in her ear. “How you sat between every play diligently taking notes.” I kiss her cheek right next to her earlobe. “The way you yelled when the ref made a bad call.” Another kiss on her jawline. She’s tilting her head back letting me in and my body presses against hers. “How you cheered for me when I made a big save. I saw it all.”
Someone clears their throat behind us.
“Are these beers taken? Or can I get to the fridge now?” Holt asks, picking up one of the beers from the counter next to us.
“Just take it, man,” I say, only moving my face from the crook of Lenny’s neck.
“Cool, thanks. Carry on.” He pops the top and heads to the living room shouting at someone over the music.
Lenny puts her hand to my chest to push me back, but I’m not budging.
“C’mon, people are waiting for their drinks.” She tries to turn away, but I keep still.
Fuck. I need her now.
“Kiss me first,” I beg.
I’ve never had to ask for a kiss, ever!
Lenny has turned my whole world upside down and I’m turning right along with it. I just need her kiss and then I can get her upstairs.
Lenny leans forward not breaking my intense eye contact, but then moves to the left kissing my jawline.
“Friends don’t kiss.” She whispers in my ear.
I groan.
