Teddy: Professor Peterson is making me see the counsellor. I hope they’ve got room for a 6 hour session ?? He also said: “I know a strapping young man like yourself wants to show off those lovely bulging muscles but there’s better ways of doing it.” ??

I smiled to myself and paused on a nearby bench to reply. It was a little damp from an early morning downpour but looking down at my mud-stained gym wear it would probably benefit if anything.

Adeline: They don’t call him Pervy Peterson for nothing!

His reply came straight away as though his phone had already been in his hand.

Teddy: I feel dirty Addie!

Adeline: You poor strapping young man. LOL!

How come he wants you to see a counsellor? …Not that I disagree ??

Teddy: Ha Ha …I might have been fighting on campus.

Adeline: Oh Teddy! Presumably he caught you?

Teddy: I know, I know… but no actually! What do you think I am? Some kind of amateur?!

Adeline: so, how did he find out?

If someone had snitched I’d be straight on the phone to Cillian to deal with it. Though I don’t know how I’d explain my - whatever this was - with Teddy. A picture popped up on my screen of him… a black-eyed him.

Adeline: I thought you said you were good at fighting??

Teddy: You should see the other guy lol

Adeline: Why didn’t you heal yourself?

Teddy: Magic reserves were low… But also I kinda like to feel it.

I know that’s weird.

I touched a finger against my current split lip,‘I get it’I typed out.

Teddy: Anyway, enough about me and my bulging muscles. What’ve you been doin’ today? Was beginning to think you were avoiding me again.

Adeline: Ha, No. Not this time anyway…

I had my trial for The Run x

Teddy: I didn’t know you were trying out! Go you!

Adeline: Yeah, I’ve competed every year!

Teddy: You continue to surprise me. So that’s why you’re always out for a run? Not because you enjoy it… you’re in training.

Adeline: Umm no. I’m not that desperate to be in The Run at all lol. I’m pressured into it. But! If I’m forced to compete I may as well win, right?

Teddy: Damn straight! Why would someone not want to be the best?

Adeline: Exactly! But yeah, I run for the feel of it.

Teddy: I run to escape my problems lol

Adeline: That too lol x
