“Not yet, I’m going to make you come at least once on my tongue. The question is, do you want to ride my face, or do you prefer to see me kneel?” I felt my insides clench at the option, the control he was willingly giving me.
“Kneeling.” I whispered, removing my leg from his waist. Rather than sliding to the floor he knelt on the bed, moving quickly between my legs.
“Skirt on or off?” He asked, tugging at the material.
“On please.” I asked, still preferring the guise of privacy. He wasted no time disappearing beneath the fabric. The warmth of his tongue undid me. I writhed as I tried to acclimate to the sensations that were threatening to drown me. It was a relief when his fingers joined his tongue, sliding inside and swirling. I voiced my approval with a series of barely coherent noises, shifting against him to increase the stretch. Cillian hummed his amusement, deepening the sound when I clamped his head between my thighs as his fingers curled inside me. My skin felt too hot, too tight as the pleasure spiked with each curl and lick. His fingers withdrew and I groaned in disappointment. Which was quickly replaced by excitement as he used that hand to pull me closer against his face, the pressure the last thing I needed to come undone.
“Don’t stop. Cillian, don’t stop. Please. I’m so close.” I arched hungrily against him, gripping and twisting the sheets above me. One of his hands snaked up to twist and pull at one of my nipples. The sensation had my release tearing through me. With it came a burst of light, the shining barrier from before shattering, plunging my mind into a swirl of dark chaos.
People were screaming, running between low fires and sparks from fallen power lines. Body bags lined a rubble strewn walk, all while the cries grew to an unbearable level. Something was coming, something worse than before. A dark fog choked the sky, lit only by the menacing sheets of lightning that flashed, striking closer and closer until I was caught in its current. The voltage tearing through me like fire, searing my every nerve as it sought its escape. I screamed.
“Sage! Sage! Oh Gods, Sage!” He was shaking me awake, his widened eyes slowly drooping as the blue light in the room faded, and I returned to normal. He sat back on his heels, burying his head in his hands. It would seem I was not wrong to avoid intimacy with a mundane at least.
I reached for him, wanting to comfort him, assure him I was fine. More than fine, barring the vision that left a bitter taste in my mouth. He didn’t move, perhaps not seeing or sensing my invitation. I moved, crawling over to him to straddle his lap. I took his head into my own hands, tilting it up to meet my gaze.
“My eyes are up here, lover boy.” I joked weakly, smiling as I wiped away the tear that still clung to his dark lashes.
“Are the visions always like that?” He croaked.
“No, nothing like that. This was… well, before the vision was the hardest I’ve ever come in my life. My visions… They react to strong emotions. I figured I’d probably have one after… well everything we did today.”
“Do they hurt you?” He asked, swallowing roughly.
“No!” I said, rubbing his back. It was mostly true, they only worried me for the most part.
“But you screamed. You screamed a lot.”
“I… I was mainly scared. I don’t feel any physical pain. They can sometimes even be nice. Today… well, it’s not your fault they’ve been getting darker and more… violent but I wasn’t hurt. I promise.”
He stayed silent, so I wrapped my arms around him. Squeezing him and enjoying the weight of his head on my shoulder.
“I’m so-”
“If you’re about to apologise for this, I swear I will lose it.” Cillian muttered into my shoulder darkly.
“I wasn’t going to, okay I was… but only because, actually never mind.” I said blushing into his neck. Feeling selfish for the thought process I was already on. He seemed to be on the same page however, or at least part of him was as I felt the familiar press of him against me.
“What were you going to say after the unnecessary apology?” He murmured, gently stroking my neck with his nose.
“Only that… I really enjoyed myself, and wondered if you were still up for… or rather curious as to when I could cash in on those promises from before?”
He squeezed me tightly against him, as if reassuring himself I was all here.
“I want to, but I’m not sure I can take another scare tonight.”
“Okay then don’t make me come.”
“What do you mean?”
“We don’t have to do all the things from before but… I want you. I at least want you to come too.”
“So… what? You want me to come on you?”
“In me, on me, or let me watch… I don’t have to come. I just… I don’t want this to end… If you want to keep going anyways.”
“I don’t know… It wasn’t supposed to go like this.”
“Life never goes the way we want it to Cillian, we just have to pivot.”
