“I, Anthony Hearst, accept you, Dalila Saleh, as my mate.” I close my eyes as warmth washes over me, and I can feel our bond strengthen. “Thank you,” I whisper. “For allowing me to do this.” I smile. “It’s cold. How about we head to a coffee shop, and I treat you to something warm, then we return for lunch.”
Before I can turn around and lead her back to the car, she takes my hand, holding me back. “Tony.”
“Yes?” I blink.
She smiles. “I, Dalila Saleh, accept you, Anthony Hearst, as my mate.” Her smile grows. “May the Goddess watch over us.”

I’m so proud of you.Elodie’s voice echoes in my mind while she swiftly undresses. It was difficult, and it might not have brought you the peace and satisfaction you thought it would, but it was the right thing to do.
I barely register her words as I take in her naked body.
Forget it.She smirks. It’s playtime for our lycans, remember!?
I sigh, grumbling a bit, but when Arlo pops up in my mind and gives me the deathly glare of doom, I begrudgingly decide he has truly earned himself some time with his mate, too. I undress, noticing how Elodie tosses me a glance as well. With a swift movement, I’m at her side and pull her close, groping her perfect, round ass.
She smirks. “Naughty,” she teases. “Save the thought for later.”
I smile, letting go of her and shifting to my lycan. Arlo is an imposing creature. He has dark-brown fur and no spot of any other color on him, making him look majestic. Meanwhile, Danae is smaller than usual for lycans, but nevertheless, she is beautiful. She has sandy fur and a dignified face. Arlo is swooning instantly, without a second thought, scooting closer and wrapping his huge figure around her.
Danae seems to be engrossed in her mate, too, nuzzling her snout against his and licking over it.
In the distance, I can see a similar colored lycan, probably Elise, and Marcel’s wolf, an auburn-colored strong werewolf, equally engrossed with each other.
That is until Elise’s lycan turns her head in our direction. She seems happy to see her sister and howls. Danae answers instantly, and then, like a dash, she disappears from Arlo’s grasp and runs towards her sister.Samara! She calls out.
Samara escapes an equally confused male wolf and runs towards her sister.
Mate!Arlo calls out, both annoyance and panic in his voice. He sets off to chase her.Danae!
I almost double over laughing at seeing him running after his little mate, who seems eager to re-bond with her sister. Tony and I are identical twins, too, and we love each other dearly, so do our lycans, but we don’t get that obsessed with each other.
Elise and Elodie, however, have a joint gift—a true power—their lycans are probably even tighter than Arlo and Lys are.
Arlo groans.I can’t believe it. She just ditched me for her sister!
I try hard not to laugh because he honestly deserves some peaceful hours with his mate, but then he is so serious and responsible most of the time that it’s good he was matched to a lycan who is rather the opposite.
I watch in amusement how both Arlo and Marcel’s wolf do everything to lure their mates away from each other. After half an hour, they both succeed, promising their girls they will soon go on a run together and leave in different directions.
I take a backseat then to allow Arlo to enjoy Danae and his time with her.

Somanycrazythingshappened this weekend that it’s hard to believe it was just two days. The most surprising part was Tony and Dalila, though. Not only did she easily come around and accept that he was a lycan, she also formally accepted him as her mate.
But now that both the thunderstorm and the weekend are over, we need to dive back into the nagging issue of what Arman saw in Auset’s mind and the role she and Cassiopeia play in these mysterious events.
“It’s good to see you.” I greet Cassiopeia. We are meeting her in Uncle Elden’s pack. He has called us to tell us that Arman has regained his strength and is ready to dive back into Auset’s mind. Dalila stayed back home and will spend the next few days with Mom and Dad. They will try to teach her as much about packs and politics as possible.
“Same.” She smiles politely. “I hope you had a relaxing weekend.”
“I’m not sure if relaxing is the correct word.” Tony snorts.
