“So it’s set.” Aurelia smiles brightly. “For the time being you can wear some of my clothes. I doubt you want to leave the pack in your dude’s sweaters.”

I have to grin at her words. I completely forgot that I’m still wearing Finn’s stuff. True to her promise, Aurelia finds some fitting clothes for us. She is taller and way fitter than we are, so her clothes aren’t made for midgets like us, but she has a t-shirt dress for Ryllis and a jean dress for me. “Good enough for now.” She nods. “We’ll soon find clothes that fit you anyway.”

Aurelia is clad in a gray tank top, a colorful striped loose sweater, and tight black jeans that reveal her perfect ass. Goodness, how I would die to have such a behind. In general, she has a kick-ass body. “You train a lot, don’t you?”

“I’m one of the elite warriors here,” she explains.

“Makes sense,” Ryllis says thoughtfully, flushing slightly when she realizes how Aurelia looks at her amused.

“How come?”

“You look so fit and athletic,” Ryllis admits.

“Well, thank you.” Aurelia smiles. “But you are adorable, Ryllis. You have your own assets. And Freya looks stunning too.”

“Now you are kidding.” I chuckle.

“Why would I?” She blinks. “The light tone of your skin, with your green eyes and that red hair, you look otherworldly.”

I feel a bit flustered by her words. It’s one thing if Finn says it. After all, I know the effects of the mate bond, but another for a fellow woman to compliment me.

“Let’s go,” Aurelia says. “Finn just linked me. It looks like Celine and Annie are here.”

When we head back downstairs, Ryllis takes my hand and looks helplessly at me. I can’t help her now, though. I’m feeling nervous too. But these women are going to be part of her life. One will be her alpha, the other her sister-in-law. She’ll need to find her confidence in interacting with them. In a way, that’s her battle to fight now.

The two women waiting for us downstairs are nothing like I expected. I instantly recognize Celine as alpha, as she is as tall as Aurelia and has a similar fit and strong body. She has long blonde hair and a stunningly regal face. Meanwhile, Annie is smaller but not as tiny as the omegas at Blood Snow, more proof that they just starved everyone so much that they didn’t have any chance to grow, aside from me, who just seemed to grow like a weed. Annie wears her hair shoulder length, has a beautiful smile and a cute face, and has this soft and kind aura around her, similar to Flora.

Typical luna, I assume.

“Annie.” Steve hurries towards us to take Ryllis’ hand and lead her to his sister. “This is Amaryllis.”

Annie’s eyes light up warmly as she pulls Ryllis into a hug. “Finally, we meet.” She smiles. There is something regal yet welcoming about her. “I’m truly happy for the both of you.”

Ryllis smiles at her, instantly warming up to her. “It’s nice to meet you,” she says quietly.

Annie turns to me now. “And you must be Freya,” she exclaims. “I’m happy I can spend my day with the both of you.”

Alpha Celine smiles too. “I’m pleased to meet both of you and even happier to welcome a new pack member,” she says. “Steve is a good friend. I promise, Amaryllis, you’ll feel welcomed and safe in Moon Blood.”

Finn has let us introduce ourselves and meet his friends without interrupting, but now he approaches us and looks at his friends expectantly. “Say, Annie, Celine,” he tilts his head. “I can’t help but wonder what the heck is the story with Dave? Aurelia told me a bit about it. What’s going on?”

“Oh, Goddess,” Annie sighs. “I’ll tell you everything later. We had quite the drama there.”

Celine’s face turns grim, her aura changing momentarily before she suppresses her anger again. “Dave needed a break,” she explains.

“And the werewolf who is with him?”

“He poses no danger,” Annie reassures him.

“In fact, I’m glad he is with him,” Celine agrees. “Poor Dave went through a lot.”

Finn stares at them with furrowed brows. “Will you tell me later?”

Annie nods her agreement. “Of course, Finn. We just wanted you to arrive properly and rest.”

“Thank you.” Finn sounds relieved. “So, how are my brothers doing?”

“Liam is already putting together the warriors for the attack on Blood Snow,” Annie says.
