“What happened?” I hear Jake’s voice and the door opening.

I open my eyes to find him standing at the doorway, gaping at the sight of me, standing frozen. His eyes take in my appearance, and I look at myself. My towel is on the floor to my right, and I’m flashing him my birthday suit.

“No!” I scream and sit cross-legged, hiding my face behind my hands.

My hands are pried away, and Jake kneels in front of me. His eyes are gleaming, and he looks like he is trying hard not to laugh.

“Nothing I haven’t seen before.” He pulls me to my feet, and I don’t miss the way he gives me a once-over.

His eyes bore into mine, and he takes a step toward me. I take a step back with each stride he takes toward me until my back is against the wall.

His hands go on either side of my face as he leans closer, and the arousal in his eyes is clear. My hand lands on something, and the shower turns on, soaking us both.

“Fantastic!” I say, giggling as his wet hair clings to his forehead. I’m weirdly comfortable and unfazed by the fact that he’s fully clothed and I’m butt naked.

He laughs, and I bury my face in his chest, his hands snaking around my waist, hugging and holding me close. “We could have just taken a shower together.”

His fingers rub at the skin near my hips, and goosebumps erupt on my skin. I can’t take it any longer. I go on my tiptoes and kiss him, melting myself into him. I place my hands on his shoulders to support myself and thrust my tongue inside him. It’s difficult when there’s water in the way, but with Jake, nothing is boring.

His shirt is soaked, clinging to every lean muscular part. His hand gets tangled in my wet hair while the other grips me tightly against the wall. His lower body brushes against mine, and I can feel his hard-on poking me in the stomach.

Every inch of my body is glued to his. I break the kiss for a second and remove his shirt. I wrap my arms around Jake’s neck, and we are back to kissing. I can never get tired of kissing him.

We split apart, our foreheads meeting, our eyes lock, and our breath coming out in huffs and puffs. He steps back, cursing, and my hands fall to my sides. He turns the shower off and leaves. I’m too surprised to think about anything, but he returns with a towel.

He wraps it around me instead of offering it to me, saying, “It took all my willpower to do this.” His voice is still hoarse as he says, “Get dressed. I’ll meet you downstairs.”

With the last peck, he smiles sweetly and leaves me alone with my silence. Only Jake can satisfy me while leaving me wanting more.

Isetmytrayon the table and settled down.

“How was your test?” Kristy asks, munching on an apple.

“It was fine,” is my lamest response. “Where are the boys?” I ask, glancing around our now-empty table.

“Tyler texted a few minutes ago about an urgent team meeting,” she says as she swallows her bite. “They’ll be here.”

“How are things with Tyler?” I ask her, taking a bite of my apple.

Her cheeks turn pink, which is so unlike her. “Things are great.”

“Just great?” I raise an eyebrow. “I was expecting more. What about your dad? Does he like him?”

“Dad loves him,” she says, her cheerful mood returning. “They got along pretty well. I’m only worried about Tyler’s dad.”

“He’ll come around once he realizes how amazing you are,” I assure her. Nobody could ever dislike her. She is the definition of perfection. “What about your college application?” I ask her, suddenly remembering her Parsons submission.

She sets her fork down, an unhappy grimace on her face. “No. Nothing as of yet.”

“There’s still time.” I console her. I know it can get depressing after a while. Even I was getting a little worried about Harvard.

“Here they come,” Kristy says, smiling, her eyes set on something behind me. I turn in my seat, and Jake, Tyler, and the other team enter the cafeteria. Jake’s eyes find mine, and his face breaks into a smile that warms my heart. The jocks make their way to their table while Tyler and Jake join us.

“Ready for the big game?” Kristy asks Tyler.

Jake kisses my cheek, making me giggle.

“Yep. They don’t stand a chance.” Tyler speaks.
