I'm fed up with him being this fucking stupid!

I point at him and say, "You stand beside my best friend and wrap your arm around another woman. The same woman you always fucking run off to."

His eyes widen, but I'm nowhere near done.

"For years, my best friend has had to watch YOU parade around with that skank."

My finger points to Barbie Wannabe, who decided wearing a fucking clubbing outfit and stripper heels was a good idea for a wake that shouldn't even be held here but at the lake like Momma wanted. Her hair is fucking bright pink; the last time I saw her, it was brown. She looks fucking ridiculous.

The bitch gasps while Jackson's arms tighten around me, but he doesn't stop me; none of them do; they either know I need this, or they know this shit needs saying.

"You have been treating her like she's your fucking doormat. If someone takes notice of her, you scare them away, then go back to the bitch; she's upset. You're right there to take care of her before yet again going back to that fucking bitch!"

Gunner's eyes flare before he shouts, "BECAUSE SHE'S MY FUCKING FRIEND!"

I shout back while Jackson growls at his friend and club brother for raising his voice to me, "WHOSE FUCKING IN LOVE WITH YOU!"

His eyes widen before looking at Leah, but I don't take my eyes off Gunner; he's the source of my anger.

I know this is down to her to do as she sees fit, but I can't see past my red faze caused by my mother's selfishness.

"And when you saved her from some fucking asshole four months ago and took her home where you both drank, you slept with her!"

His eyes shoot back to mine with my cold voice as Leah sobs before he rasps, "It wasn't a dream."

I just smirk a nasty smirk at him, "No, Gunner, it wasn't a dream, and you didn't even remember; instead, you went back to Barbie Wannabe over there the next day!" He swallows hard. "Do you know the best thing when people think you're not listening because of your grief, Gunner? They talk."

I hear Cara gasp. I look to see Clitter, who has majorly earned my respect and friendship, when I can think straight again, gripping Cara's arm as she tries to leave before I look back towards Gunner.

"The bitch admitted while on the phone that she'd poked holes in your condoms this morning, it seems you MC men love getting with women who try to trap you all." I feel the room get tense as all the brothers stand. "She wants your patch and your money, so what better way than trapping you?"

He goes stone-cold still before slowly looking at Cara; his eyes are hard before he tilts his head at her, making her swallow hard.

"Shane."

It's all he says for Shane to take hold of the woman's arm, who then proceeds to drag her, kicking and screaming, out of the clubhouse before turning back to Leah. He goes to walk towards her, but she just shakes her head at him before moving over to the table with Cammy, who instantly takes her in her arms, not once looking at me.

My red haze suddenly disappears, and the consequences of my actions hit me hard when Gunner's painful eyes turn to me.

I gasp in pain, realizing my mistake and making him step towards me, gripping my cheeks before he rasps.

"It's ok; just breathe; it's ok."

I shake my head as my tears flood my cheeks, my breaths coming in short, causing Jackson to hold me tighter from behind while Leah steps toward me, rasping, "Breathe, baby girl, breathe."

Baby girl?

Daddy!

I want my daddy!

I get out of their grip, making them both step towards me with panic. My breathing becomes shallower the more I'm away from my parents. I quickly shoved past them, running to the door. I vaguely hear Clitter and Leahshouting my name, but I run. I run past Shane and the crying, begging Cara, making him call my name too as I rush past the gates, heading towards the hidden trail walk that cuts around the town that bikes can't fit down.

I run and run, my chest aching, but I don't stop.

I can't.

I need to keep my legs moving.
