“Cool.” He shook his head. “I don’t want to accept it. I’m glad you’re in charge of all the arrangements. I don’t think I could handle it.”

“You could if you had to.” I assured him.

“What’s going to happen now?”

“With what?”

“The organization?”

“I have to figure that out. We are going to read the will later today and there will be some surprises.”

“Surprises?” Cenzo leaned forward.

“A few, from what I was told by father.” I thought of our other brother. “Wait, where is Frankie?”

“He’s probably somewhere getting shit faced. He’s been drinking since we found out. He hasn’t been sober since Valentina told about father. He was passed on my couch last night. He disappeared sometime overnight. I called him and told him to meet me here. I had to leave a message. He never called back.”

“He has to be at the reading.”

“I’m going to find him, sober him up and get him there.”

“He needs to show up. He has to come when I call, since I’m in charge now.”

“Frankie’s the youngest. You know that. He’s always been softer than us.”

“I have a feeling that Frankie isn’t the youngest.” I threw a little bone out there for my good brother to fetch.

“What does that mean?”

“Odds are, Dom had some other kids.”

“What the fuck?”

“Huh.” I shrugged.

“What? No way. How do you know that?”

“He told me about one. We all know that he was never faithful to Madre.”

“Yeah, but those were just hookers. He would never get a hoe pregnant.”

“Not all of them were hookers.”

“No way? Did he tell you he had other kids?”

“I only know for certain about the one.”

“The one. Who’s the one?” He asked. I had really piqued his interest.

“There’s a man from Chicago. His other son.”

“No way. How old is this guy?”

“He’s thirty-two.”

“That means he’s older than Frankie. How come I’ve never heard about him?”

“Dom told me not to tell anyone.”
