Nash grunted.

“Cookies?” Adam popped his head up.

“Come up here, little man. You can color on Nash later.”

“K.” Adam knee-walked up the bed.

Lucas grabbed a hold of Adam’s hip to help guide him and make sure that Nash wasn’t bounced too hard. He urged Adam to lie on his back between Lucas’s legs with the back of his head against Lucas’s chest.

“Here’s a drink, baby.” Lucas held up the bottle.

“Milk!” Adam clapped before he spit out his paci.

“Uh.” Nash frowned. “That…now it has blanket fuzz on it.”

“Silly Na-Na.” Adam settled farther against Lucas before he opened his mouth.

Lucas held the nipple of the bottle at Adam’s lips before glancing at Nash.

“Apparently, I have a new name. Little Adam keeps calling me Na-Na.”

“I like it,” Lucas admitted.

“Daddy! Na-Na!” Adam pointed at each of them before returning to his bottle.

“Eat, Na-Na. You need something in your belly,” Lucas teased.

Nash scowled but reached for the cookies. Lucas didn’t care what Nash chose to eat. All the snacks were healthy enough that Nash could nibble away. He should have known that Nash couldn’t resist their sweet little.

After sliding down the bed, Nash rested his head on Lucas’s hip, next to Adam’s leg, and started to offer cookies to their baby.

Adam would happily accept a cookie before sucking down more milk. Since Nash seemed to be too busy feeding Adam to worry about himself, Lucas picked up a grape and offered it to Nash.

“Thanks,” he whispered before opening his mouth.

Lucas slipped the grape inside only to have Nash close his lips around Lucas’s fingers and suck. Oh, he knew what game Nash was playing and Lucas had to give his boy credit for the naughty thought, but they all knew that Nash wouldn’t be up for anything sexual for a while. It was still fun to be teased and have the opportunity to watch his boys together.

Lucas

The alarm had gone off twice and Lucas knew it was time to get him and Adam up.

“You don’t have to get up with me,” Adam whispered as he rolled over.

They’d fallen asleep after binge-watching a zombie show the night before. With Adam cuddled up between him and Nash, Lucas hadn’t had the heart to wake them, so they’d all slept in Nash’s bed with him, keeping Nash’s broken leg toward the edge where no one would hit it.

“I’m up,” Lucas grumbled.

“Seriously.” Adam laid his palm on Lucas’s chest. “Stay here. I can get the baking done by myself.”

Lucas had never been a morning person. He’d never had to be since the shop didn’t open until noon. Still, he and Nash had taken turns being with Adam went he went to work at five-thirty to do the baking for the day. It was easier now that Mickey had begun to split those early shifts with Adam.

“Take Daddy with you and let me sleep,” Nash whined from the other side of Adam.

Lucas chuckled as Adam rolled his eyes but at least there wasn’t any more arguing. Lucas didn’t know why Adam even bothered. They’d made it clear that Adam should not be alone in the shop ever. Even with the added security system, cameras, and better locks, Adam needed someone with him until the morning shift showed up. Normally Lucas could catch a nap before he had to go into the shop on days that he met Adam early.

He climbed out of bed before helping Adam to his feet. It was adorable when Adam tucked his blankie under Nash’s chin like that would make Nash get better faster.
