I hold her as she cries, my chest is wet with her tears. As suddenly as it started, she stops. She wipes her face with both hands, rubbing her eyes.
“Better?”
She nods.
“Okay baby, I need to get you something to drink, but I’ll be right back.”
She shakes her head, and her mouth forms into a little no. Her fingers curl around my shoulders and she sits up, straddling my lap. She looks directly into my eyes, and she begins to grind against me.
I hold her face in my hands, kiss her softly, but she’s having none of that. She nips my bottom lip hard.
I pull back, grinding my jaw in irritation in a show for her, but I’m secretly elated that she’s blatantly showing me what she wants. But I can’t let her dominate.
“I’m in charge here Angel, you get me?”
She nods and looks hesitant.
“But I want you to ask for what you want, so I’ll take that as you are asking me. Am I right?”
“Yes.”
Her eyes dissolve into liquid pools and she bites her lip.
“What are you hiding Angel? What else do you want?”
She looks down and fidgets with her fingers.
“I want you to take it,” she whispers.
“You want me to fight for it?”
She closes her eyes briefly, and when she opens them back and looks at me in relief and heat.
“Yes.”
“Okay, Angel, hold on to something.”
I stroke her ass cheeks some more, and she grips the sheets tightly. I dip my fingers inside her and finding her drenched. I remove my fingers and push myself inside with one hard stroke. My hips meet her ass, and she whimpers at the contact.
“Your cheeks are a nice cherry red color, baby, this is going to sting, and feel like heaven all at the same time. I’m not going to hold back Angel.”
“No, she whispers, don’t hold back.” And that is all the permission I need.
Alarms
Brynn
I wake up naked and alone in bed. I pull the blanket more closely around me and close my eyes, pretending that I have not woken up.
I am still asleep. I was having the best dream, one from The Before. But not my before, this Before dream had Declan in it. I hum to myself and snuggle into the pillow and my eyes pop open.
There was no Declan in The Before. Not for me.
I need to remember what this is, even though it feels like a dream. This house is not a sanctuary, and this isn’t pretend. I need to get over myself and get my shit together. I sigh and head to the bathroom.
I sit on the toilet to relieve myself and suddenly an alarm starts wailing from somewhere in the house. I can see a red light flashing through the crack in the door.
Declan bursts through the door, looks at me on the toilet and runs out. The alarm suddenly goes silent, but I can still see red light blinking beyond the door.
