“I’m okay, really. Too much sex can kind of make a woman’s insides really tender and sore. We’ve been all over each other for days, and you’re a big guy, Ez.”
“This is my fault?” His expression shuttered, a blast of cold energy radiating from him.
“No, of course not.”
Ignoring her, Ezul scooped her up into his arms, their chests molded together as he planted her legs firmly around his waist.
“You will not walk.” And with that, he stopped talking, striding purposely off into the cavern.
Cordelia was a bit depressed the further they traveled into the cave. Okay, alotdepressed. She’d been hoping for another day with him at least before he tossed her back into the harem and she never saw him again.
It was too bad she didn’t think Ezul was down for sex anytime soon though. He had returned to being a grouch, for some damned reason, and now they traveled mostly in silence while he stewed.
Cordelia hated silence.
“Are you going to tell me why you’re in such a mood?”
Ezul grunted, the silence ticking on for what felt like forever before he answered. “You should rest, Runa. Let me find our way from here.”
Her brows rose at the nickname, a flutter forming in her stomach.
“What does ‘runa’ mean?” It sounded like ‘roo-nuh’. It also sounded adorable, but considering her other nickname was ’ little menace’ she had no idea if he was being sweet or not.
Ezul grunted in response.
She leaned back in his arms, mock-glaring at him. Ezul merely grunted again, unfazed. “You’re not going to tell me what it means? That’s very mysterious of you.”
“Would you prefer being my menace?” he asked gruffly, and she nearly swooned at the thought of being his in any way he’d have her.
Besides, she kind of liked hearing ‘little menace’ when he was cumming inside her.
Ezul gripped Cordelia’s ass possessively as he walked, carrying her in his arms as if she weighed nothing. She sighed, leaning back into his chest. Dropping her chin onto his shoulder, her eyes focused on the darkness behind them.
Cordelia didn’t know if she could spot another leiling ready to strike, but she didn’t want anything sneaking up on Ezul while he was moping.
It wasn’t difficult to make out his features, even in the darkness; his silhouette was illuminated by the plants strewn along the cavern floor. Glowing orange vines skated up the rock wall, too, snaking across the ceiling above them.
“That depends,” Cordelia said serenely, in reply to his question, burrowing her head in Ezul’s neck. She nipped his skin, just to feel him shiver.
Fingers tightened on her ass, and she smirked, her tongue poking out to tease his flesh. “Will you still call me your little menace when you’re fucking me?”
Please find a way to still keep fucking me after we leave here.
A low rumble came from Ezul. He nipped her bare shoulder, sharp teeth dancing across her skin in a carnal reprimand for her teasing.
Cordelia jumped at the contact, her aching pussy clenching from the movement. She groaned pitifully, sinking back into him.
“Perhaps we should not speak of sex until you’ve recovered. I did not mean to harm you with my needs,” he growled, his body stiffening further.
“Is that why you’re grumpy? You think you hurt me?” Ezul only growled in answer, nuzzling the top of her head with his chin while he continued walking. “I don’t know what it’s like with other women you’ve had sex with but, for humans, too many times can make us sore. A bath can help relax the muscles, but I’ll be more than fine in a day, maybe less.”
Hopefully less because she was already wet from a simple nip on her shoulder. It was too bad he’d put his leathers back on or he could have just placed her on the ground and helped her out in a matter of seconds.
“I’ve never been with another to know I could damage your womb,” Ezul admitted quietly after a few minutes of silence. Cordelia leaned back again to look at his face, her mouth hanging open at his bold lie.
“You’ve been with Alesanda from the harem. She already told me. And my womb isfine.“ Cordelia blushed. Of course she’d blush at something stupid like the state of her womb and not the fact Ezul had just lied to her.
She ignored the sting in her chest at his words. Why not just be honest with her?
