Wraith grimaced; she was shutting down. Kian, the bastard, laughed, up front.

"I have documents in there I need to retrieve."

"I'm sure you'll manage without them, and I guarantee your car's gone. I left it on the side of the road with the keys in the ignition."

"Aye, she's right," Gabriel said. "Whoever has it ripped the GPS tracker off it."

Gabriel pulled through the iron gates of The Tower and pulled the car up to the round tower house instead of the mansion.

"It's late. Can't this wait until tomorrow after she's had some sleep?" Wraith asked.

"No. He wants to talk with her tonight." Gabriel parked the car and got out with Kian.

Wraith undid the cuffs on Pim's wrists. "Don't be frightened. I'll stay with you the entire time."

"If you think that's going to make me feel better, you can go screw yourself."
