“I can’t wait,” Abby says, then turns to me. “But first, it’s me and you. Let’s go, big guy. Show me what you have planned.”

“Yup, this food is amazing.” Abby moans around another mouthful of food. It’s taking everything in me not to cum in my pants. Dinner was a bad idea. I forgot how much Abby loves food, and the sounds she’s been making are enough to keep me hard this whole time.

“I’m glad you're liking it.” I grin, taking a bite of my steak.

“I love meat. And this is so juicy.”

No, Luke, you are not going to crack a joke telling her you have some juicy meat she can try. Save it for later.

“It is.” I shove another bite into my mouth to keep me from saying it.

“So.” She puts her fork down. “Tell me about yourself.”

“Oh.” I blink at her. I haven’t had anyone ask me that in a while. “Well, you know my name, where I’m from, and my age.”

“Yes.” She laughs. “Tell me, what does Luke like, what makes you happy, sad, excited?”

“Well... I like music. No specific kind really, a little bit of everything.” I laugh. “It drives the guys crazy. I could be listening to Skrillex one song and then Spice Girls the next.”

She grins at that. “You like Spice Girls?”

“Yup.” I give her a cocky smirk. “Who doesn’t?”

“I was going to say I didn’t know you listened to that kind of music because a lot of the pure bloods look at you like you're committing some kind of crime if you listen to anything to do with sex, drugs, or swearing, but then I remember you’ve never been like them. At least, not really.” She raises a brow.

“It might seem hypocritical, but we’ve never really pushed that kind of stuff. At least, not after we found out we were mates. We kind of went along with it, didn’t argue with people about it.” I lower my voice so no one around me hears. “But when you realize you're in love with not only one man but two, and everything you’ve been taught says you're going to get sent to Hell for it, you don’t wanna preach everything that is against you.”

She gives me a sad smile. “I’m sorry you had to grow up this way. I’m sorry God made these kinds of rules.”

“That’s the thing,” I tell her, leaning in closer. “I don’t think he did.”

“What do you mean?” Her brows furrow.

“We’ve been looking into what you overheard our dads talking about. While I do believe God doesn’t want people to kill, to cause harm, to hurt others or do bad things, I don’t think a lot of the things we're led to believe are wrong.”

“Like what?”

“Well, for starters, I don’t think God would tell people to love and respect one another only for pure bloods to turn their nose up at them for not being as good as they are.”

“That always made me wonder. Pure bloods are always preaching to treat each other with love and respect. Unless you're someone outside their kind.”

“And there’s other realms with so many different customs and rules, right? It’s my understanding that he watches over all of those.”

“Not Hell,” Abby says.

“No, not Hell, but the fairy realm, the vampire realm, even the dragon realm. I don’t know much about those places, but I’m assuming they don’t have a crazy amount of rules like we do. I don’t know. We need to keep digging, but there’s something bigger going on, and I’m not convinced God knows much about it.”

“I don’t think so,” Abby agrees, looking like she’s in thought. “I know Hell doesn’t but that doesn’t count because Hell is where anyone who’s too evil to be around others goes.”

“Is everyone in Hell evil?”

“No,” she snorts. “Am I?” I shake my head. “Is Leo?” I see her point. “There are different sections in Hell. A lot of places run just like earth, only a lot hotter and the sky is a gloomy thing. We have schools, businesses, houses, hospitals, all that kind of stuff. But we also have a fuck ton of magic.” She grins. I throw myself back as her hand lights up with fire.

“Holy fuck. I forgot you had powers.”

“Maybe I can show you all of them someday.” She smirks.
