Chapter 13
Leo
I’m not one to getjealous easily. I’m confident in my love and relationship with Abby. She’s not only my mate, but has been my best friend, my person, for pretty much my whole life.
When Zed came into the picture, I could see how much he wanted her. It was easy to accept him into the fold because we both craved Abby’s happiness and pleasure before all else.
Finding out that Isaac was her mate made me mad for her, not at her, because at the time, he was the worst option to be hers. As only pain followed, none of which Zed or I could take away no matter how much we tried.
Now, she has Luke and Noah. As much as I don’t like how they treated her in the past, I can see how much they’ve changed, and that they care for Abby. I’ve been doing my best by giving her the room she needs to build her bonds with them, not wanting to overwhelm them, but fuck, I miss her. I’ve had way too much free time on my hands.
I tried hanging out with our friends, but I just end up thinking about Abby the whole time. When we’re not in school, I’ve just been spending my time walking around the island while she’s with one of them until it’s time for bed. That’s when I come back to the house and slip into her bed. It's the only time of the day that I feel at peace.
“Leo,” Abby moans as her ass grinds against my painfully hard cock. Her fingers tangle in my hair at the back of my head, and I groan as she tugs at it.
We’ve been dancing for an hour now, just me and her.I’m in heaven.A part of me loves how the other guys are watching her, hunger in their eyes like they wish it was them she was grinding against. But she’s all mine for tonight.
“Fuck, Starbright.” I suck at her neck, leaving little kisses and bites. “I’ve missed you.”
She moves until she’s turned in my arms, facing me. Cupping my face, she locks her eyes with mine. “I love you for the space you’ve been giving me, but it needs to stop. I can find time to connect with the others without missing out on time with you or Zed, okay? I miss you too. Please, stop spending so much time away from me.”
I lick my lips and nod. “I’m sorry, baby. I just wanted to take as much stress off you as I could.”
“I know, and I appreciate it, but I’m starting to get more stressed with you being away.” She pouts, and it’s adorable. She’s a little tipsy and a lot horny. I can feel the sexual energy radiating off her. It’s driving me wild, and I can not get my cock to go down. I miss being inside her, to feel the way her sweet hot cunt grips my cock.
“Okay.” I nod. “No more space. I’m going to be so far up your ass, you’ll get sick of me.”
“Never.” She giggles, and the sound warms my heart. Her eyes grow hooded, and I groan as I’m hit with a wave of her arousal. “Follow me,” she breathes, licking her lips.
Swallowing hard, I follow her, my cock throbbing in my pants as she leads me through the crowd.
This house is big, but it’s also packed with dark angels. I think I see a few demons too.
“Where are you two going?” Zed asks as we pass him and the other guys who’ve been sitting on a couch looking like they would very much like to be in my place. I’ve seen Luke and Noah dance a few times, but Isaac has been sitting with Zed on the opposite side of the couch. While Zed’s been drinking, Isaac has not. Good for him for keeping away from the alcohol. I’m sure being at a party surrounded by alcohol can’t be easy.
“I’m taking Leo up to one of the empty rooms, and I’m going to ride him until I’m nothing but a boneless heap from cumming so much,” she announces with so much sass that it bleeds out into her movements and has her jutting her chin out at Zed. I choke on a laugh, grinning as he glares at her.
“You're drunk,” he accuses her.
“Am not,” she scoffs. “And so what if I am? Drunk sex is fun, it feels good. I want it, and you do too, right?” she asks me. I nod eagerly. “See. So, shh. You're just jealous you did something stupid, and it’s not your dick I’m riding.”
“I like drunk Abby.” Frankie snorts a laugh as she sits next to Zed on the arm of the chair. “She seems fun.”
“Thank you. I am fun. You should test it out sometime.” She giggles. Frankie’s brows jump, and my eyes dart to Zed.
My stomach swarms with guilt. Zed told me about Frankie, and I hate keeping this from Abby. This is making a decision for her and look what that got him into today.
I only found out the day before yesterday after bringing up the fact that Frankie and Abby seemed to be getting close. I saw the look on Zed’s face and knew something was up. They managed to convince me to keep my mouth shut for now, because it’s not my business. I do agree Abby still has stuff with Isaac to work through, and she hasn’t connected with Noah yet like she has Luke, so adding on another mate would be a lot.
But unlike Zed’s opinion, I think Abby has the right to know. Although, it seems like things are working out on their own and it makes sense as to why Abby and Frankie have been hitting it off so well.
The vampire isn’t so bad. I like how she puts Isaac in his place. She’s nice enough, and I can tell she cares for Abby. Her reasoning for keeping this from Abby is, in it’s own way, considerate. Frankie wants to let Abby get to know her, connect with her, and make the decision to be more than friends without the pressure or the knowledge of being mates.
“I got to pee,” Abby blurts. “Be right back.” She takes off toward the bathroom down the hall, and I spin around to glare at Frankie. “You two need to tell her.”
