“What the fuck did we miss over the weekend?”
“I have no idea.” But I plan on finding out.
“So, Heather,” Luke starts, looking at me with amusement in his eyes.
“Don’t even start,” I growl. “Why the hell were your Heathers so easy to break up with?”
“They weren’t,” Noah mutters. “Mine called me over eighty times and blew up my phone. She went to my dad too. I had to block her on everything. Also, remember them showing up at our place?”
“Yeah, mine stalked me at school for the first few days, threw herself at my feet, and begged me to take her back.” Luke chuckles. “Looks like you just got the mean crazy one while we got the normal crazy ones.”
“We need to keep an eye on her. I know she’s not done, and I’m afraid she might do something to Abby.” If she hurts her, I will end her. I don’t care if it puts a dent in my perfect pure blood reputation. No one will ever fucking hurt my mate again, especially me.
“Don’t worry. I don’t think our poor girl is going to get any space any time soon.” Luke throws his arm over my shoulder. “Now, let's go get something to eat. I haven’t seen her in a day, and I’m going crazy.”
“Can we do something tonight?” I ask, not missing the shock on Luke’s face.
“Sure. Like what?”
“I don’t know.” I shrug. “Play some video games, watch a movie...”Fuck. But I don’t say that. I miss them. I miss kissing them, touching them, the way they feel around my cock as I pump deep inside them.
“I can smell your arousal.” Noah smirks.
“Whatever,” I scoff. “What do you say?”
“Yeah.” Noah nods. “I think we need that.”
“Good.” I nod.
We all get our food and take it over to Abby’s table.
She smiles when we sit down, but goes back to her conversion with Penny. Leo greets us with a nod, and I don’t miss the evil eye the red haired girl tosses our way. What the fuck is this girl's deal?
“So, who are you?” Luke asks, finally.
The red head just glares at him.
“This is Frankie,” Abby answers for her. Frankie’s eyes flick over to Abby’s and soften.Fucking hell, not this girl too.Doesn’t Abby have enough people interested in her? I’m not competing with some vampire girl. Abby lowers her voice. “She works for my dad. He sent her here. An extra set of eyes and ears for, you know.”
For everything that’s going on regarding my dad.
“Why does your dad care?” I ask her, eyes narrowing.
Abby raises her brow. “Because he loves me and wants to make sure I’m safe. My mother is married to your dad. And the fact that it’s not going to take long before your dad knows I’m mated to you—to all three of you—you think he’s going to be happy about that?” I shake my head. “That puts me at risk.”
“I’m not going to let him hurt you,” I promise her.
“I know.” She gives me a soft smile that fucks with my heart in ways I’m not used to.
“She’s also Zed’s best friend,” Leo adds.
“Really?” I ask, looking at Frankie. “How do you know my brother?”
“None of your fucking business,” she replies, giving me a sweet smile as she bats her eyelashes.
Leo chokes on a laugh, and I shoot him a glare.
Abby answers for her again, sensing Frankie isn’t going to play nice with me. I’d say she doesn’t even know me, but if Frankie works for Abby’s dad and is also best friends with one of Abby’s mates, I can see that it doesn’t matter. This girl hates me, and I didn’t have to do a single thing to her to cause it. Not that I blame her. If I was her, I’d hate me too for what I did to Abby. “Before she started working for my dad, she would go to Dark Night. She met him at a party.”
