"I want to say sorry for neglecting your talent, and burying a gem like you in a pile of administrative work," Gloria says sincerely. "Starting tomorrow, you're going to have two assistants for admin work, and you can design full time."

The words keep ringing in my ears, and I still can't believe that the great Gloria Fields has apologized to me. Also, she acknowledged me!

"You're very talented," Gloria adds.

"Thank you," I whisper. I feel overwhelming happiness, I can't ask for anything more.

"I'm the one who's supposed to thank you. Thank you for loving Grant," Gloria says with a smile on her face. We hug each other.

We walk out of the room like best friends. When Grant and Arnold see us, they look surprised. I smile at Grant.

"Goodbye, and see you next time," Gloria says as she hugs me. We share hugs and kisses as we say our goodbyes.

The house slowly disappears from sight, but the happiness remains.

"Teddy!" Lauralee yells as she reaches for her bear. I can't blame her though, she's tucked in probably the most enormous bed she's ever slept in her whole life. A grandiose bed with two queen-sized mattresses stacked on top of each other, silk comforters, and a ridiculous thread-count for the pillows.

Sonya sits besides Lauralee, looking as beautiful as the day I met her, in spite of wearing just her casual blouse and skirt, she could walk inside any party and be the belle of the ball. One of the many things that I'll love about that woman.

I'm confident that she can give those women at the ball a run with their money even if she wears casual clothes.

"Will you fetch me, Mr. Teddy, dear?" Sonya requests. I gladly obey and get Mr. Teddy on top of the dresser and carefully place it next to Lauralee. She immediately hugs it and showers it with soft kisses before closing her eyes, never letting go of her best friend.

"Goodnight, my lovely mommy," yawns Lauralee.

"Goodnight, my baby," whispers Sonya before kissing her daughter goodnight.

We quietly leave Lauralee as soon as we hear the first snores coming out of her cute little mouth. Angels would be lucky to have her face as she sleeps.

It doesn't take a few seconds after closing the door before my urges get the best of me. I push Sonya unto the wall opposite Lauralee's room and kiss her. Her tender lips are an experience I will never ever get tired of. The dark halls of our mansion are a perfect cover for me to express my passion for Sonya as haphazardly as possible, which turns me on even more.

"I love you," I whisper to Sonya as my hand caresses her soft cheek. Her caramel skin is a sight to behold under the moonlight. Those three little words do not do justice to what I feel for her, but I pray that it will be enough for me to convey my feelings to her.

"I love you, Grant," she wraps her arms around my neck and kisses me. I embrace her back, snaking my arms around her slender waist.

"I love you more," I reply, lifting her up with the tightest hug I've given in my life.

"Oh!" Sonya shrieks. "Grant Fields! Put me down now!"

"Has anyone ever told you how cute you sound whenever you're angry?" I say as I look up at her. Sonya doesn't reply and merely pouts at me.

"Hold your horses, beloved," I reply. "I will drop you off only to a place deserving a queen."

I carry her back to my room, which is three bedrooms down from Lauralee's. Luckily for me,

Sonya chuckles, "This is a room deserving a queen?"

"Yes," I proudly reply. "For this is the King's room. My room."

I carefully lay Sonya on my bed, "And a King's room needs a queen to guide him."

I unbutton my long-sleeve shirt quickly and throw down on the floor as I crawl on my bed. My blood boils, seeing Sonya's curvy silhouette. I reach for her top and remove it as I kiss my woman. I wish nothing more than for our skin to melt with each other as we explore our passion.

Suddenly, I feel the sudden urge to just lie down and stare at Sonya.
