"Lilith!"

Curious as to who was eliciting these unexpected sensations in me, I lifted my head, just as his rose between my legs. Dark hair, pointy ears, and burning red eyes met mine, and I nearly screamed.

But something was different. His face seemed familiar, not as frightening. That might have had something to do with him licking his wet lips, which I realized were wet from my arousal still dribbling down my leg.

His lips curved upward, exposing sharp fangs, and my heart thundered inside my chest. But not in fear, no. For some reason, all I wanted was for him was to bite the inside of my thigh where my flesh tingled and felt hypersensitive. The thought of him biting me there, lapping at my blood, made me…

"Lilith!"

"Hurry!"

His command of hurry, followed me as I woke with a start, staring into Ben's concerned face. My heart thundered inside my chest, sweat poured down my body, and yeah, I was dripping wet between my legs. My clit pulsed with want for his mouth to return, while my nipples peaked, burning for him to tease them again.

For a moment the stranger's face morphed with Ben's. Red, glowing eyes penetrated me while he rasped, "Hurry."

His voice was more deep and sensual than any I'd heard before.

All I wanted was to lie back in my chair and just relish the fading memories of my sex dream. I chuckled. I'd never had a sex dream before.

"Did you have a nightmare?" Ben asked.

"Is she okay?" Iris's concerned face popped over his shoulder.

But it wasn't the sight of them that fully awakened me. No, it was the realization that, when the stranger told me to hurry, he hadn't spoken in English. No, not at all. He had spoken in the ancient tongue of Sumerian, a language that had been last spoken thousands of years ago. At least on Earth.

I sat up with a start, . "Y… yes, a nightmare."

Gratefully I accepted Iris's offered bottle of water to stall for time as well as to get my bearings. Having a sex dream aboard a plane was bad enough, but somehow it bothered me even more that it had been Ben who woke me.

Luckily they seemed to assume I had a nightmare, probably from the ordeal I had been through, which would have been a much more natural response than the one I actually had.

"We are about to land. Are you ready?" Ben asked.

I wanted to ask so many questions, like ready for what? But refrained when I saw deep rainforest below us. "Where are we?"

"Guatemala," he said, and I noticed his features were a bit more tense now that we had arrived.

"But where are we…" My question of where we were going to land was answered when I saw a narrow landing strip cut out between thick trees. A plane, similar to ours, just took off in the opposite direction.

At the end of the landing strip stood an old Mayan temple, at least it should have been old, but it looked brand-new. I doubted anybody had built a new temple here, but someone restoring one to its former glory seemed just as unimaginable.

This place didn't look like a tourist spot, despite the temple and landing strip. It didn't look like anything besides them were even here. But what did I know?

I had been just rescued by a bunch of secretive soldiers I didn't know existed, and from aliens no less, to be brought to Guate-fucking-mala, during what looked like an apocalypse. So yeah, despite my expansive historical knowledge, I felt like I knew nothing.

"Buckle up," Ben advised with a sardonic grin and wink.

I narrowed my eyes at him. There was something knowing in his. My face heated wondering if he suspected I hadn't suffered from a nightmare.

A jolt that made me nearly topple out of my seat and thankfully changed my mind's direction. Another followed, and then we rumbled over the uneven ground that was the airstrip.

When the airstairs released and the doors opened, I realized I was utterly ill dressed for where we had landed. A sweater and leggings were not the right attire for a rainforest.

Sweat dripped down my back, underneath my armpits, and a few places I would rather not mention by the time we descended the stairs.

An older man rushed to us. "Is that Lilith?" he asked.

"I'm Lilith Vanderkamp," I said before Ben, who had been asked, had a chance to. "And I would very much like to know why I am here, where my parents are and—"
