Her eyes involuntarily fluttered when Jovan dragged a calloused knuckle down the side of her face. She leaned into him, heaving a shuddering breath of relief when he kissed her cheek.

“I love you, my queen,” he whispered in her ear.

Jovan always had a way of turning her knees to jelly. She dug her hand into his knee for support, getting lost in the intensity in his eyes. “And I will always love you. My new memories haven’t changed that.”

He nodded, a lump bobbing in his throat. “I’m very relieved to hear that.”

She cupped his cheek. “Never doubt my love, Jovan,” she whispered against his mouth when he bent over her for a kiss. “I will love you in this life and in the next.”

His kiss was more tender than she expected. Her second alpha had always loved to assert his dominance during intimacy.

His low growl reverberated in her mind.Don’t worry. I’ll be asserting my dominance later tonight.

Had she accidentally projected her thought to him? She shivered when his claws skimmed down her back, sending a jolt of lust skittering down her spine, her body set aflame with anticipation.

“Are your sons back in their dimension?” Boris asked as he sat across from her.

Her gaze cut to him, doing her best to force thoughts of rough make-up sex out of her mind. “They are now.”

Boris had a look in his eyes, like a nervous boy about to ask a pretty girl to the prom. “Do your sons want you to go back?”

“They do, but they also understand and respect that I have another family.”

Geri knelt beside her, taking her hand in his. “So what are you going to do?”

She looked from her beta and directly into both of her alphas’ eyes. “That depends on you.” She didn’t go into the details about the lost crystal just yet. She refused to dwell on the probability that she wouldn’t see her sons again. She was confident they would find it. She swallowed back her trepidation. They had to.

Boris shared a look with his brothers and cleared his throat. “We don’t want to force you to choose.”

She released a long, slow breath. “Then don’t.”

Jovan arched a brow, a smile tugging at his lips. “I guess we need to buy some shorts. I hear it’s warm there.”

She couldn’t help but smile. “Don’t worry, the weather is perfect.”
