“Apparently not me,” she said with a self-deprecating, theatrical sigh before taking a sip from the martini glass Dan had placed in front of her. She set it down and offered her hand. “I’m Olivia, by the way.”
“Pete.” His large hand dwarfed her petite one. Her fingers were cool from holding the chilled drink glass, but her skin was silky soft. “So, Olivia, what brings you out on a Tuesday night if you weren’t planning on watching the game?”
Her lips twitched playfully over the rim of her glass as she took another sip.
“I just got off work and didn’t feel like going home yet.”
“Overbearing husband?”
She laughed. “No. Nothing like that.”
“Demanding kids?”
Her smile fell briefly, but she quickly recovered. Had he not been studying her so closely, he might have missed it.
“Just me and my two cats. But ever since I bought them an automatic feeder, they really have no use for me.”
He had a few uses for her, and they all involved her being naked.
“So you don’t have to rush home to them.”
She looked him dead in the eye. “I could stay out all night if I wanted.” After a dramatic pause, she added, “And they wouldn’t miss me.”
The corner of his mouth hitched, and his dick moved in his jeans. “Good to know.” He took a pull from his beer bottle as he looked at the TV and murmured, “I also could stay out all night if I wanted to,” then glanced at her for her reaction.
“Oh, my. Think of all the trouble we could get into.”
He let his eyes wander over her, resting on her cleavage for a beat. Her nipples poked through the thin fabric of her blouse under his appraisal. He was glad she seemed as affected by him as he was her.
“Why do I get the feeling I’d enjoy getting into trouble with you?” he murmured.
“Because you would.”
Her confidence, coupled with how hot she was, now had his cock at almost full mast in his jeans, making his current seating arrangement uncomfortable.
He stood and put his hand in his pocket to subtly adjust himself as he told her, “I’ll go check on your order, darlin’.”
“It’s okay. I’m not in a hurry.”
“The sooner you finish your dinner, the sooner we can consider leaving to get into trouble.”

Olivia
Was she crazy to actually be considering this? After her conversation with Rose she knew she needed to do something; she just hadn’t planned on it happening so soon. But then she’d noticed the gorgeous man the minute she walked in, and it seemed like a sign.
He was almost perfect. Other than maybe being a little older than what she’d envisioned, he was exactly what she was looking for. Actually, he might have been a little too perfect for what she had in mind. When she’d made this crazy plan, she hadn’t considered what would happen if shelikedthe guy.
Olivia glanced nervously at Dan, who had been watching her and Pete with amusement as he dried glasses with a bar towel.
“Is he allowed to go back there?”
The man laughed. “They’re not going to tell him no.”
Before she could ask why not, Pete reappeared and slid back on his barstool.
“It’ll be out in a minute.”
