I pulled out a pair of jeans and a tank top. I didn't even bother showering. I walked into the kitchen and took the cup of coffee Frankie handed me.

Jake walked into the kitchen and poured himself some. He smiled at me and kept glancing at my chest. I looked down, confused, and realized I was so tired I didn't put on a bra.

Heat rose to my cheeks as I turned and left to fix myself. As I was in my room getting ready, Sammy walked in. Seriously, no one ever knocked.

"I am so ready for this!" Sammy tossed her arms in the air. "I texted Jake last night, and he said Billy was coming. You know, the guy Frankie always gets to bounce at his parties. The guy has seriously large muscles and probably a large..."

"Anyway. We gotta hurry up." I cut her off. "Frankie wants to stop and get groceries on the way there."

I grabbed my bags and headed downstairs. Matty and Rex also showed up. They both smiled at me when I entered the living room. Yeah, this is gonna be a long weekend.

"Let's go." Frankie clapped his hands together.

"Isn't your girl riding with us?" Matty asked Frankie.

"Uh, no. She is meeting us there. She is grabbing the alcohol, so we don't have to stop for that as well." Frankie grabbed his bag and headed outside.

"Does she have a name?" I asked.

"Yup."

I rolled my eyes and followed him outside. Matty, Rex, and Sammy tossed their stuff in Frankie's car.

"Shit, I forgot my bathing suit. I guess I'll be skinny dipping." Sammy shrugged.

Frankie turned around. "Sammy!"

"What? I'm going to skinny dip." She hopped in the back seat of his car.

"Not in front of everybody," Frankie shook his head. Sammy rolled her eyes, and then she and Frankie exchanged a look. Frankie shook his head and got in the driver's seat.

"That was odd." I hopped in the truck with Jake.

"Not really. You know how Sammy is. I'm sure he is just looking out for her." He started the truck and followed Frankie.

When we got to the lake house, I was impressed. Frankie had really outdone himself. The house was beautiful, with a large deck that looked out onto the lake. Inside were seven bedrooms, a kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a vast living room with a fireplace.

I had expected us to be at the lake I was at the other day with Jake. Instead, this place was two hours away. Lake Gem was ten times the size of the one near my house. This had many homes around it, and so many people were already on the water in boats and jet skis.

"Frankie, this is amazing," I gasped.

"I do side work for the guy who owns this." He set down his bag.

"So, which room is mine?" I had gotten up so early. I wanted to lay down for a bit.

"You and Sammy are together upstairs. Pick any room. I have the master downstairs. Matty and Rex are sharing, and Jake and Billy have another one," Frankie replied.

"I thought you said like ten other people are coming?" I asked. This house was big, but I didn't think it would fit everyone.

"Only four more. Harry and Donnie, my buddies from college, and they are bringing two of their friends." Frankie counted on his fingers. "Yeah, that's it. I was gonna invite more, but then the house gets crowded. Besides, twelve people are more than enough."

"They are bringing their girlfriends? Damn, like everyone is gonna be paired up." Sammy tossed her hand on her hip.

"They are dating each other, so no girlfriends for them." Frankie shook his head as if this was common knowledge. I knew it because I had met them plenty of times, but Sammy hadn't.

"Well, I'm going to take a nap." I grabbed my bag and headed upstairs.

"I'm gonna help them unpack." Sammy handed me her bag to bring up as well.
