What’s wrong?

 Me:

I can’t ask Google and I need help

 Rory:

OK tell me. This had better qualify as an emergency

 Me:

If I was having some nightmares what could I do to make them better? Also if something happened with someone and it made things weird what could I do?

 Rory:

Your second question is very vague and quite alarming. What have you done?

 Me:

 Nothing bad!

Extremely inadvisable and completely unexpected, but notbad. It was…something that shouldn’t have happened, but it had, and now I needed things to go back to normal again.

 Rory:

Hmm. I’m not sure I believe you. Regarding your first question, here’s what the internet suggests…

 Regular sleep schedule

Talk about the dream with someone, to reassure yourself the nightmare isn’t real

Stress relief activities e.g. meditation and relaxation techniques

 Establish a relaxing bedtime routine

Most of the other suggestions pertain to children, and there are medical treatments which I’m assuming you don’t require? You don’t usually suffer from nightmares do you?

 Me:

Thanks Ror you’re the best. No I don’t need medical treatment. I’ll try those things

Or Theo would, even if I had to force him. I couldn’t deal with another night of him waking up all distressed, of seeing those dark circles under his bloodshot eyes that seemed to become more prominent each morning.

I’d feel the same about anyone. I’d do this for anyone, not just him.

 Me:

 What about the other thing?

 Rory:

Can you give me any more details? You’re being very vague

 Me:

There’s a guest on the island and I might have done something with them that was inadvisable. Now things between us are weird
